Very friendly staff, good location with free parking nearby, comfortable bed, wireless internet free of charge and fast enough, good breakfast. Double door to room makes it quiet. Some hammering or knocking started somewhere in the building around 7:30, not very noisy but disturbing.

This was our 2nd visit to this Hotel and would use it again , and recommend it . The staff were friendly and helpful . Breakfast could be varied on a day to day basis

Very pleasant hotel in the centre of Hof, friendly and helpful staff, delicious cooking. Super for accommodation during business trips. Only little bit troubles with WiFi connection.

A very lovely hotel in the central, just beside the main bus station. The Room for 3 people is big enough and it is very clean. The employee there are very nice and are always ready for helps.(It takes about 15 to 20 Minutes from the train station to the hotel.)

It was localized directly in the city close to trauinstation and pedestrian area down town in Hof. I got a nice meal in the restaurant and breakfast was good. Oldfashioned and kept that way :)!

Friendly and efficient team. We arrived at the hotel at 22.30hrs and welcomed by a friendly member of staff. The evening meal we had on our last night, out of four, was professionally prepared an enjoyable.The wines were of excellent choice and, the young lady who served us who also attended the Front Desk is highly commended! The hotel is certainly excellent value for money, Accommodation, Breakfast and Food. We certainly shall stay at the 'Strauss' again. travels Not so much 'didn;t like' but we recommend in-room tea making facilities ie 'Welcome Tray'. For the next refurbishment programme it would be beneficial to change the mattresses for a firmer make. A good strong Assam Tea for Breakfast please and a good quality Orange Marmalade. Not everyone likes DIAT Jam.

The location was central to the town . The staff were friendly and helpful . Free parking . The morning breakfast was sufficient to start the day with a long opening times. The room didn't have any ventilation , therefore the window had to be left open and the noise from the traffic was a nuisance .

We found everything fine. Alot of people could not speak english, where as the rest of the trip they could. But no big deal. It is their country after all !!

We were travelling to Italy. We have never been in Hof before. We found the city interestering. Perhaps we will come back another time. Hotel Strauss have parking, good location.

Very big apartment with two bedrooms and living room, very reasonably priced. Good location in the city center. Empty bottles in the minibar, quite early closed reception.

Neues Bad, sehr freundliches Personal, Frühstück war sehr gut und umfangreich. Fassade wurde außen renoviert, hierdurch war der Eingang schwer zu finden.

Wenn man Innenstadtlage mag...... Ich fand es gruselig. Schwer in die Jahre gekommen, Bad wie in einer Schulsporthalle aus den 70ern, aus der Dusche tröpfelt es nur. Frühstücksraum Atmosphäre wie auf dem Bazar. Ein buntes Stimmengewirr von diversen Landsmannschaften, die jeweils wichtige Geschäfte übers iPhone in Landessprache abwickeln mussten.Chaotisch. Sehr hellhörig,man weiss genau,was im Nachbarzimmer gerade geschieht...
