We stayed at Hotel Strauss overnight on our drive from Kaprun in Austria to Berlin. This is an old hotel, however, the room size was very good, room was clean, hotel restaurant food was very good and the hotel staff were excellent. Parking is off-site across the road, because we had a lot of luggage that we did not wish to unpack and take to the room and were concerned to park off-site the manager very nicely allowed us to park our car outside the rear entrance to the hotel/kitchen.

The room of the hotel is very large.Some of them is suite.Excellent quality and reasonable price. The reception and restaurant is located another house. It cause a little inconvenience.

The staff have been lovely at all times and very helpful. I had to cancel and rebook and they were very gracious and it was done free of charge. It is an excellent budget hotel and I would happily stay again. The hotel provides free internet but has a few blackspots (like one of the rooms I stayed in) where I could not access it. However I was able to sit downstairs and use it there so it was fine.

In short wards, the hotel is clean comfortable, rooms are specious, freindly staff, near shopping center, good parking facility, don't expect luxury, the hotel is furnished with old furniture but not bad. Internet service in the room is very slow you have to get out to the carridor if you want a strong signal. Beakfast is good. not much to say concidering the price you pay for the room. wooden floors can make a nice musical sound when you walk if you consider it so, or it could be annoying if somebody staying with you in the room sleeping.

Friendly staff, English menu at hotel restaurant, had a pleasant meal. Good size rooms Bathroom needs modernising,hotel lift took a while to understand how to operate but worked ok.

Easy to find with free parking. We stayed only one night and were give a minor appartment consisting of two bedrooms and a living room. (and a bathroom, of course) The WiFi internet wasn't the quickest one, also with bad range.

Central location, private parking nearby, friendly staff. Quite a lot of traffic noise on the weekend night we stayed there. Room furniture a bit oldish.

peaceful room on top floor The rooms in this hotel are definately not 4 star!! Rooms not properly looked after, and staff not the most friendliest. Also breakfast was not the greatest.

Wir waren 2 Erwachsene und 3 Kinder. Gebucht haben wir das Familienzimmer für 4 Personen. Bei der Ankunft fragten wir ob wir einen Aufpreis für unseren Sohn bezahlen müssen, der mit in unserem Bett schläft. Nein, mußten wir nicht. Sehr freundliche Rezeptionistin. Riesen große Zimmer, zwei Schlafzimmer mit je einem Fernseher, ein Wohnzimmer und viele Kleiderkästen. W-LAN kostenlos sowie auch der Parkplatz. Das Bad war zweckmäßig mit Badewanne und sauber. Wenn wir wieder unsere Verwanten besuchen buchen wir wieder in diesem Hotel. Vielen Dank! ( Eine Familie aus Tirol
