Facilities were very clean, staff was efficient and nice. Roomy.

They, like several german hostels we stayed at, have this annoying Wifi system whereby one has to enter/track different passwords daily, for every device that uses the wifi, because the permission expires daily. What do they think, that people are going to return to the hostel after checking out, just to use the Wifi? How much of a real problem is it that they must hassle lodgers with an annoying daily expiration system? It seems like a small thing, but it really gets tiring over several days when you have a smartphone and/or tablet and/or laptop. They should allow an active term of at least a couple of days so that lodgers only have to enter credentials once over the course of their stay.

realy good value for the price!

no towels are provided. they give you one chip for all the group to enter the hostel loby, so it's a problem to split up and come lately at night.

Nice to have a kitchen on the floor Bakery & supermarket near the Hostel

The Reception was nearly never staffed and when the Staff (the Hostel owner himself?) has been there he was Even rude. The bikes you can rental (for 50€ deposit!!) looked great and nee but turned out to be in bad (even dangerous) condition (at least those that hadn't a flat tire) The Bath was cleaned every day but in cause of the many hostelguests on one floor, it was nearly every time dirty.

The kitchen (though a microwave is only available in the kitchen on the ground floor?? Should be easy to "fix" that). The "shared" bathrooms were pretty much always free, and we could use two of them in parallel; if you have a private bathroom, you might have to wait for your partner as your lives are happening in sync... Wlan was good (connection, speed), but you need to beg for another (free) ticket at the reception, which is only seldomly manned... Free parking (though this is just a free public parking on the street). Rooms are big and clean.

Only very seldom there is actually someone at the reception. You need this to get the (complimentary, so this is good!) wlan code tickets (which seemed to be expired really soon). Arriving past 8pm is possible, but in our case the SMS with instructions (sent 2x allegedly) never arrived though I was called on my (non German) cell phone to check what time we would arrive (so this is again good). Finally we had to call the emergency number on-site to get the instructions, where the other person really was not friendly, as if it was our fault we hadn't received the SMS. (For the above two issues I checked "staff" as "bad". The cleaning personnel available is friendly though.) No elevator (46-something stairs to go for us). Could use a bigger table and a couple of (even cheap) comfort chairs (instead of the poor single plastic one) in the (otherwise big empty) room. Location if you want to go and eat (or buy) something nearby: there is no restaurant or grocery store in walking distance (that we saw).

Very easy to get to by public transport. We stayed in the 6 bedroom "Ferienwohnung", which was excellent. Very big rooms, very comfortable.

Kind of far from the city centre (although can get public transport there for a couple of euros).

The apartment is good for family with young children because of the great amount of space, the private entrance, and the private bathroom. The apartment was clean. We also felt safe after the staff informed us that no criminal activity was happening. We also liked the free parking around this hostel.

The private bathroom for this hostel had a bath but there was nothing to hold the shower head up.

Decor was very cute and cheery looking! My room was spacious and comfortable.

The wifi signal was not strong enough to reach my room, so don't count on having wifi in your room. Staff were nice but they were hardly around. A lot of the time reception was closed, even at times like 4 pm. A bit inconvenient if you needed something.

Close to center, large, convenient, kitchen with everything.

At summer, with opened windows, it will be a noisy place. No towels.

I liked everything but stuff. There were some troubles with entering. But this hostel is very, very comfortable. Among all it has good kitchens and nice interiors. And it is situated very close to tram and bus stations. Supermarket is also not far from the hostel. In 30-40 minutes you can get to the historical centre by foot. The same thing with the main railway station.
