Superbude Hotel Hostel St. Georg    

The hotel is quite far from the tourist attractions although relatively close to the S-bahn station. The window in our room looked out against a wall which made the room verv depressing.

The hotel is well designed, very young and original. kind of interesting to find your way to your room.

wifi is a bit hard to get through coz too many people are using it at the same time. the quit is too small.

Friendly people, trust their customers and give adequate and usefull info about the city. Interior is simple and sufficient, spacious room and common areas, using unexpected materials in a fun and creative way!

Relaxed atmosphere. Nice staff. Interesting and alternative interior. Situated very close to Skateland.

Home atmosphere and attention to details in the interier

A bit strange rooms... But it's designer hotel!

Really very good for the price! What we really liked and was one of reasons to choose is that they provide the child (4 years) with an additional normal bed without of charge and also do not charge children for breakfast. very good connection with transport - station Berliner tor is near and its gives a straight way to most of places of interest in Hamburg.

Could be noisey at times, but in fairness my room was just above the entrance.

Incredible job in making an otherwise dull building into a creative space. It has the homeliness of a good Hostel but the quality of a hotel. This place bursts with creativity and makes you feel at home. 5 minutes' walk to the tube is well worth it ;-)

One small thing, hardly dissatisfying: Superbude could do with better pillows on the beds; bring your own if you are sensitive about that ;-)

Funky and comfortable inside, very clean, excellent breakfast, easy to get to from the central station - just one stop on the local train from there. Staff helpful.

Double room was two single beds pushed together, the immediate surroundings of the hotel were not that nice but only a short walk to a much nicer neighbourhood.

exellent service and the rooms deco is fantastic: Very very quiet despite the proximity of the road and train line. Close to St Georg area and close to train station for airport (Berlin Tor).

very minor: the tv screen is a little bit far away from bed and difficult to see at night. The switch for the bed lamp needs to be closest to the bed so that short people don't have to get out of bed to switch off the light;

Location was easy to find and takes 10 min from nearest train station. Distance of the Hamburg hdf station only one stop. So we could go downtown to easy. All staff were very helpful. When I ask something to them, they deal with it quickly. The interior of the hotel was very unique and fresh. We were very satisfied of our choice.

The room was a little bit dark at night. Because there were few lights in the room.

Had to shut the dark curtain for privacy during the day. could use frosted glass instead. Also, for this money Tea and coffee should be included or maybe like 2 cups per day and the third charged or something a bit fmore compatabile with a hotel facility. Otherwise loved the deco. Thanks, Noa

The hotel is excellent value for money and within walking distance of the centre of Hamburg. It's in a safe area and only a 3 minute walk to the nearest train station. It is spotlessly clean, trendy and full of ingenius little design touches. The staff are incredibly helpful and very friendly. There is a buzz about the place. There's a self service buffet breakfast, which is basic but good value, and a nice little outdoor seating area by reception plus a rooftop courtyard terrace. Our room was basic but had everything we needed including hair dryer and towels. The shower was hot and powerful. We would definitely stay here again.

The services were good, cheap bike rental, free wifi, well stocked breakfasts.

Our room was too small, it was like a cell. It was spotless but it was painted grey colour which made it depressing to look at.

Big and clean room. Nice deco. Parking across the street for 5 euro.

Location a bit far (but it is convinient because hotel is situated approx. 350m to nearest u-,s-bahn) and roadworks in front of the hotel.

Funny hotel/hostel you get just a little bit more thann you pay for, but then again you dont pay a lot. Easy access to the city, a nice place to sleep with a newish approach to hotel idea. Staff very friendly and well informed. You get the impression that the staff feels like its their hotel, and that you are their personel guest.

very much traffic on the road, so windows had to be closed. No aircon (which is fair at that price) but a cellingfan would then be a good option. Great bathroom, but soap has a strange smell, also showerfloor very slippery. TV very small all channels are german, so if you dont understand germanm its useless, since even captain Piccard speaks german (all though they didnt syncronice the Klingons :-))

Funky and cool design, clever re-use of materials ie. film cannister s&p shakers, plunger coat hangers, beer crate seats etc. Very friendly and helpful staff. Awesome breakfast. Would definitely recommend for budget conscious travellers.

Friendly Staff, super cool ambiance, comfortable clean rooms and great breakfast. It´s not close to the attractions, but with the day ticket (the group day ticket is advisable from 3 people) you can get with public transportation everywhere in Hamburg
