Score from 148 reviews Very good
The Hotel is excellent in all senses - location, food, cleanliness. Upon arrival, we were given a free upgrade to a suite for the duration of our stay. The "standard" rooms though were big and comfortable enough to accommodate a family of 4. The breakfast was excellent and during our stay we ate at the Italian restaurant in the Hotel which was extremely good value for money. The staff were super friendly.
I would expect an hot tub or a Waimea swimming pool for You g kids
Although we did not reserve a table for dinner, we got what we wanted after a clear intervention. Staff is well trained and remained friendly.
Nice restaurant The hotel is full of different and fantastic events especially in the night Perfect hotel for family with kids If I come back again to rust I will go this hotel.
In the summer, the weather is hot and there is no A/C in the rooms
The location is perfect
No one to take the lagguge in check in & check out No professional house keeping No water provided in room
The decorations, rooms, atmosphere, facilities. I visited more than 10 theme parks in uk, Netherlands, Spain, France and Germany itself, Europa park is by far the number one.
Extremely overpriced. With half the price, one can stay in Basel or Zurich which is 1 hour drive. The staff is so cold and don’t give the feeling of being in a theme park. They should look like having fun but talking to anyone spoils the fun mode. No toileteirs in the bathroom and no porters (Shame for such hotel standard and price).
Perfect location near the park Entertainment facilities (shows, water fountains, child play areas..) throughout the hotel
There was no fridge to store food in; or air conditioning in the rooms
free Wi-Fi, near to the Europa Park.
no AC: it,s horrible to stay in a room with out A/C, no save box in the room, spiders and flies every where meant in the room and out side, no laundry service, no room service and house keeping after 10 pm.
No air condition
I hope to fix air condition for all the rooms.
The location is next to europapark, the theme
No welcome complementry , no fridge in room, no airconditioning, poor menue, no staff to help unload and upload luggage, should be rated 2.5 stars best cases
The Hotel is simply wonderful: restaurants, SPA, shows, staff, shops, ambiance, everything very good.
No air conditioner in the room (standard ones usually don t have, unfortunately we were not informed before booking the room). In very hot days can be a big problem..
Beds were not clean. Service was poor. U can't call this hotel 4 stars superior. Maybe 3 stars.
Apart from AC, the place is excellent from all aspects.
We were there during first week if Aug. I did not know that rooms are without AC. It was not comfortable to sleep without AC. Next day we were provided with fans and that was an accepted solution.
There was a noesy sound in the room
Great location to the park. Good breakfast Helpful & friendly staff
No safe box in the room No shower-caps as well No Air conditioning Room is small considering is a family room
Very clean, satisfactory breakfast and dinner, nice show, comfortable beds, very good location
The location is great and the sauna area is beautiful and relaxing.
Kids!! The hotel itself is full of children running about and can be very stressful in the breakfast area. The food and drinks are ridiculously expensive. It is cheaper to eat at Europa park! The rooms are extremely noisy and have no air conditioning or a mini fridge.
Location was great....just a few minutes walk from the guest entrance at the back of the park. The hotel workers weKudosenerally, very helpful and friendly. Garage parking was great and kept our car out of the weather. The breakfast buffet was terrific and had a wide selection of food. They chef was very helpful and made sure my son with a peanut allergy was well taken care of. Kudos for that!!!
This hotel was our most expensive stay (per night) during our trip. Unfortunately, we got hit by a heat wave. That made our non air conditioned room totally miserable. Lighting in the room was sparse turned our stay into a hot and dark one. You can check out fans from the front desk but they really just pushed very hot air around. At dinner, they would not serve tap water, so we had to buy 1 liter bottles of water to the tune of about $10 U.S. dollars each. Go to the Aldi store 3 minutes from the hotel and load up on water and sodas. BTW, there are NO water fountains in the park (yep, we even asked several employees to confirm what we suspected). It sounds strange but kids were swimming in the fountains and everyone had their feet in ponds, decorative lakes, and even ride entrance water displays (like the Blue Fire). It was just unfortunate timing that we were there during 100+ degree Fahrenheit weather. We'd gone during the Spring and Fall before and loved it! Go in October when they have thousands of pumpkins out for decoration. It is amazing (and cooler) then!
No air condition , spiders & insects in the room
Close to the park.
Not very clean and the floor is not carpeted!!!! Noisy and dosent have a Save!!!!
Great staff, very clean quick access to europa park.
Needs more fans in room for summer. And more bending machine in each floor.
The best thing is it's just few minuets from the park
We arrived in the hotel at 0200 pm and they refused to check us in because they said there chick in time is at 0330 pm and the check out time was between 0600-1100 am which was annoying. I travel a lot and I've never seen a policy like this at all. The room was very small and with no air/conditioner. Although it was one of the park hotels they don't provide any privilege to there customers like park tickets or at least a special prices for the park tickets. It's a four stars hotel and there is no luggage service or concerge, I had to take my bags myself and store them till they checked me in and after that I took them again to the room without at least a trolly.
