The design of the hotel really made me feel I was back in Ancient Rome.

Rather noisy. Walls were rather thin.

The theme was awesome, and the reason I booked at this hotel in the first place (partnered with my desire to indulge after weeks in hostels and low-budget hotels). The staff members were wonderful and friendly and completely competent with English and their jobs.

I was prepared for noise -- it is, after all, a family hotel, at the second-most-visited family theme park in Europe; nothing could have prepared me, however, for the sheer amount of sound that trickled endlessly into my hotel room until the wee hours of the morning: blasting music, screaming kids, and a neighbor whose child was likely the reason for the phrase "bloodcurdling scream." In addition, the bed itself wasn't a queen mattress, but rather two twin mattresses stuck together -- resulting in my inevitable and constant drifting towards the slight dip in the middle... Not exactly a comforting and restful experience. Having experienced perfectly competent (and even superior) hotels for one-third of the price, I can safely say this is hardly worth the price tag; there are undoubtedly better accommodations to be had (Pension Kuhn, for example).

Even during an off-Peak visit the Hotel was very busy and the staff could not really spare more than a few moments to deal with any questions. The hotel is perfectly situated for a visit to Europa Park which alone makes the stay worthwhile - however it is poor value for money and busy.

Very good value for money vs Disney. Great facilities for kids of all ages, including play areas, restaurants, even toilets!

Swimming pool not designed for small kids - no shallow area

Location. Just beside the park with a dedicated entrance. This hotel is the one that host more night events than any other. Something to take into account if you decide to stay at home of the resort hotel

The location and service was exellent

The hotel was very close to main road, that's mean you can't sleep at night with the open windows

Staff are not friendly, room not cleaned (I found a spider inside the room) reception staff refuse to change the room until I talked to hotel manager the room without aircondition

Kids facilities were excellent. My children were having fun the whole day and were easily making new friends.

No room amenities. No air conditioning. No fridge in the room. I was given a room with no view at all as it was exterior view. While most room were having the fountain view where all the fun happens

No a/c , no freg no safe box in the room and the kitchen closed at 10:00 pm

The hotel was excellent but the hotel manger and some reciptionests are very rude and dose not deserf to work thier.

Location and facilities

Superb hotel. 100% value for money. The arangement at the restaurants is such that you dont feel there is a crowd even when the hotel is super busy. The exterior and interiors of the hotel are excellent. The design, decor and the materials are high quality. The room itself, overlooking the "piazza" is very well appointed and spacious. Contrary to the info / reviews, our room did have air conditioning. The room was very spacious, well decorated and the separate area with bunk beds for kids was a very nice touch. The spa and pool were also fantastic and the service did not let us down even though it was very busy. We would most definitely stay here again.

The noise - it is very noisy in the rooms and you can hear every step of out in the halls.

Nice hotel close to Europa Park; easy direct access to the Park. Nice facilities and pretty good breakfast. Colosseo is the perfect Hotel to stay at Europa Park. It has a huge parking, many restaurants and very friendly staff!

Insonorisation des chambre

La situation de l'Hôtel juste à 5 mn du parc ainsi que l'accès des attractions à 8h30 le matin ( mais attention l'accès qu'à certaines attractions du parc ..:-(, la propreté , l'architecture, la piscine ouverte jusqu'à 22h, le petit dejeuner riche et varié, les chambres d'une beauté exceptionnelle , le spectacle le soir (spectacle de jets d'eau ), le personnel parlant le français.

Le personnel à la piscine pas forcement très sympathique...ainsi que le lit double dans la chambre qui est en fait 2 matelas séparés.. L'accès qu'à quelques attractions le matin pas à toutes ..(mentionné à l'Hôtel le jour de l'arrivée sur fiche )

Excellentes prestations hôtelières et restaurants au sein du complexe hôtelier à la hauteur des attentes. Pesonnel attentionné, prévoyant et réactif. Digne d'un 5 étoiles.
