Breakfast was ok but could also have some more variation. Unflexible staff was absolutely not service oriented. Apart from that, old rooms, stupid internet rules where u must get the code every 12 hours. This place needs a fresh up not only in the technical sense but also in terms of how to manage a guest. Some very grumpy people are working there at the reception. No value for money.

Good location, excellent breakfast, helpful and friendly staff, and a cozy room. The walls were a little thin. I could hear people talking in the hallway throughout the night.

It is located near the outlet city (just 2 minutes on foot). Very impressive is the sweet smile of a young lady working in reception. Very small rooms!

It was so clean; the breakfast, excellent; the evining staff person secured maps from the net for our trip to Zurich the next day and the map was horrible; this was not his fault. Someone needs to drive the roads and correct the information. We rarely forund the roads listed. The morning staff front desk person was excellent and gave accurate directions to places. Keep him. He advised us to just use directional signs to locations and trash the maps, which we eventually did. We loved the cleanliness and the excellent breakfast. The heated towels and floors would be a plus in the winter.

Very friendly staff. Free tea buffet in the afternoon. Excellent location in Garmisch. Only parts are renovated to todays standard. Ok if you accept to partly stay in the flavor of the fifties-sixties. This mainly applies to choice of colors etc.

Excellent, comfortable room. A good location near the centre of town and the station but in a quiet area. Very helpful staff. Good value, the complimentary tea and cake in the afternoon were very much appreciated.

Majestic, 100 year old Bavarian style hotel that has been elegantly renovated. The heated pool, sauna, spa and foot massage pebbles provide an excellent relaxation facility. Staff are very helpful. An extensive range of foods offered for buffet breakfast which can be enjoyed in a luxurious setting overlooking a garden. Formal dining room offers good meals. Highly recommend the five-course Christmas Eve dinner. The renovated bathrooms are adequate, although slightly small.

The location of the hotel was fairly central to the things that we wanted to do (Christmas market, skiing, etc.). The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was quite nice. The strict adherence to time (e.g. sauna was only available between 3 and 7 and unusable at any other time). The washrooms in the rooms did not have a shower that was usable without getting the entire washroom wet.

The breakfast was really good with plenty of choice. The new spa was very good too after a day in the mountains. The location a short walk from the town centre was great. The decor in some areas was a little tired - shabby chic. Our room wasn't as clean as it could have been but overall it was good.

Rooms were Nice, Breakfast was wonderful! Convenient to Tourist spots and shopping. Warm indoor pool. Staff were very Nice!!

Staff were friendly and helpful. The option to get half-board (breakfast and dinner) was beneficial. The food was excellent and well- presented.Having a balcony with view of the Mountains was also a plus.

The staff was great and very accomadating. The restaurant in the hotel was excellent and the breakfast buffett was large. Free parking, elevators and free wi-fi made it a good value. All of the rooms don't have showers, so be sure to ask for a shower when booking if that is important to you.

Friendly professional hard working staff. Good location. Excellent breakfast, good diner. However it takes some adjustment of mind to pay €900 for a 5 nights stay! Taking a shower in the bath tub is due to the absence of an anti slip on the bath tub rather dangerous, certainly for elderly people. I fell once without hurting too badly. This lack of customer safety is not acceptable in any hotel and certainly not in the Wittelsbacher Hof!
