TopDomizil - Apartments 'Residenz Prenzlauer Berg'    

Fantastic value for money in excellent location, in beautiful and relaxing Prenzlauberg. Right next to Mauerpark. Close to tram, bus and subway.

Four of us stayed in Top Domizil while visiting Berlin. It was about a 5-7 minute walk to the U-Bahn which was able to get us everywhere we wanted to go. The small apartments were very nicely appointed, the beds were quite good, and there was plenty of hot water for showers. We also liked the fact that it was a quiet neighborhood so we slept with the windows open.

The location, nice streets with restaurants, supermarket and public transports. The apartment was quiet, clean and all we needed.

The air on corridor of the apartment

The apartment block is about 1.5km from the city centre (alexander-platz) and has 82 apartments. Its like a functional East German block of flats. Ours was a good sized with a bedroom off the living area divided with double sliding doors. The sofa bed was easy to assemble in the living area for our 18 year old son and the area was roomy enough for us not having to de-assemble it each day. There are loads of really good restaurants very close and are not too expensive - great variety of cuisines. Great for a short city break.

Unfortunately the whole building, including the apartment reeks of cigarette smoke. You do get used to it after you've been in the apartment for a while but it hits you every time you come in from outside - shame

Location and tranquillity

I stayed one month, payed a lot, and I my room has been cleaned just twice and I didn't got any wifi and any laundry service!!

Cozy apartment. Clean and confortable. Ideal if you travel with your friends.

Free wifi was supposed to be included but we were told that service wouldn't be available in our room. Also the staff hardly knew any English which made communication very difficult.

The flat is confortable and the location is good, you have acess to subway, train, and tram easily.

The was a strong smell of cigarrette in the flat (coming from the ventilating system). The is no internet access, a big mistake!

The apartment is very spacious and has all the necessary facilities. The location is great, lots of restaurants right around the corner, supermarket right down the street, but still a quiet neighborhood.

The internet and parking are charged as extras, and the staff doesn't speak English.

Every room has a balcony, the staff is friendly, the price is great.

I liked the convenience of the means of transport nearby

Clean good sized apartment. Two bedrooms with nice beds and separate baths. Kitchenette was nice with coffee and tea machine. No microwave but did have small refridgerator and stove top. About 100m down street there is a grocery store. Trolleys were about 200m away. Right around corner were many restaurants.cv

Location

No english speaking staff lack of kitchen crockery and glassses ie no small plates, no cereal bowls and no wine glasses and a microwave would be useful.

Nice location - quite surrounding - excellent price

clean and airy room, nice balcony for smokers, elevator, very peaceful and silent, berliner mauer-park, small kitchen in the room, nice stuff.

the shower didn't work well

The location is amazing its in the central of an area with lots of restaurants and bars, many young people and nice streets. The apartment was very nice and had all we needed.

The Internet costs money 5 euro for a day. Another thing is that you can't find information because the door mans do not speek English so sometimes that's a problem if you need something

The fact it was a large apartment and quite cheap and very well situated for shops, eating places, laundrette, internet etc were all nearby. Very conveniently located.

The location is brilliant, the rooms are clean the facilities minimal but considering our needs it was almost fine. Since we stayed at that studio flat for 11 days I wonder why after a week there was no supply of new clean towels and bed covers. There was also no bath rags.

The only thing that we really missed was the lack of internet in the room. On our days it is a basic need. since there is no Telephon in the room there an internet wifi is much more necessitated.

Very good neighborhood, and it seemed safe.

Had to climb over my mate to get to my side of the bed; no room to walk around. We had to call for fresh towels and empty our own trash.

Centrale ligging, goed verzorgd, schoon en vriendelijk en hulpvaardige receptie.

Wir hatten die Fahrräder mitgebracht und haben jeden Tage schöne Radtouren in Berlin und bis Potsdam ge- macht. Die Radwege in Berlin sind sehr gut ausgebaut. Das machen wir wieder. Die zentrale Lage des Zimmers war ideal.

Schönes Quartier mit einer grossen Auswahl an Restaurants, Parks und Unterhaltung. Ruhige Lage des Appartements. Sehr nette Leute überall.

Langfristig wären neue, härtere, stabilere Betten empfehlenswert...
