Hotel Terminus am Hauptbahnhof  

Very friendly and helpful stuff, excellent location, good breakfast, near to Central Railway Station and Central Bus Station. The street itself is a little bit tricky in some way (it`s Red lights district) but the hotel is situated at the very beginning of it, so it`s no problem with it as well. The rooms are small but fully comfortable, so value for money. I have had a very pleasant stay there. Strongly recommended, every time again.

A very fine breakfast and a very kindly and helpful staff.

On booking in we were told that we were staying in the sister hotel Hotel Linden slightly further down the road. We stayed 2 nights and on returning to our room at the end of the first day discovered it had not been cleaned or beds made. The duty manager's response was to shrug his shoulders and say nothing could be done. It took a visit to the Hotel Terminus to ensure we at least had clean towels. I think this is an unacceptable level of service and for this reason would not recommend booking this hotel.

Great Breakfast. Very friendly staff. Very clean. Very quiet. No street noise. Very convenient to the airport and the main railway station.

Location could be a bit offputting to some people. However it was very convenient for us and I had stayed there some years ago so I knew what to expect. Rooms are a little small but for a brief stay the room was fine

Very convenient for the Main Railway Station and the main shopping areas. I had a short trip to visit Miniature Wonderland with my son and grandson, and found the hotel very comfortable, clean, and the staff very helpful and friendly.

The room faced the narrow courtyard and therefore could not be adequately ventilated = perhaps an airconditioner would help

The staff were friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was good. The hotel is very convenient for the city centre.

Complimentary tea and coffee in the room would have been appreciated. The hotel is on the edge of the city's 'red light' district- this may put some people off, but we didn't find it a problem.

The lift was not aligned to the floors (i.e. the lift door was midway between the first and second floors), which would have caused problems for anyone with mobility difficulties.

Staff was very polite and attentive. Good value for price. 5 minutes to central station, 10 minutes to central streets.

Breakfast was quite simple and always the same. The hotels is surrounded by sex shops - for us that was not a problem, but for some people it might be.

Clean

I was placed on the top floor. There was a long staircase to the floor with the elevator. After I reached the top floor with the elevator I still had a long stair case to climb to the next floor where my room was. I had a large suitcase which was difficult to manuver with stairs. It was dark and the lights turned off automatically in the halls. Difficult to find the switch in the dark.

The hotel is located in the center of Hamburg, the whole world is just a few steps away
