Staff and facility are really good. You can rent a day pass card, get museum discounts stickers, and even buy stamps just at the reception

Every thing here is little bit expensive. No kitchen.

The service is really good, all the staffs look after you. I had a good time in there.

Very fresh design, friendly atmosphere and staff, with an intereseting and young croud. The hostel offers many interesting services such as free communal dinner. The best hostel I've ever tried.

Really clean, tidy and quiet for being on a busy crossroads. Location was brilliant. Staff were really helpful, friendly and informative! Will recommend to anyone wanting a good price city break accommodation.

I wanted to stay longer!

In short we liked everything. The location is perfect, the hostel stuff is helpful, hostel is extremely clean and safe. It`s a best hostel we ever stayed in. Worth the money and everything. Definitely to be recommend and we will be back for sure.

Breakfast Bar Design

Location could not be any better than Berlin-Mitte if you want to have the option of a closer look at all the different quarters. Decor is really nice and no-frills. Really clean, except where the spring- breaking Americans mentioned below interfered. Great view of St. Oberholz and the Fernsehturm.

Spring-Breaking Americans running around and shouting like madwomen in the hallway from 2 - 5 am, creating a mess involving potato chips in the women's bathroom and smoking despite the hotel being non-smoking: the doors really keep none of the noise out. However this only happened on one of three nights, and I suppose one has to factor in a bit of noise. Matresses not all that good.

It is a great place to meet new people, also, it has a great location and it is very comfortable for sleeping. And i have to say that they have an excellent breakfast because you pay 5 euro and you can take as much as you want from their buffet.

They only need to put big lockers in the rooms to store your luggage.

Staff was very helpful and friendly , also the service at the cafe was excellent and very friendly too !!

Value for money, great location, fantastic bar (Great way to meet people & cheap) and easily accesible to the rest of Berlin. Staff were very open and helpful at all times, I know that sounds like it should be normal, but unfortunatley in alot of places I have stayed it's not,

Right by a train station and great walking tours on offer.

No real lounge, no kitchen or laundry facilities.

All Staff were so welcoming and helpful. Decor was beautiful and hostel v clean. Good value for money,breakfasts were excellent. Good bar and very lively but not noisy for the rest of the hostel. Staff knowledgeable about area and local facilities. Brewers walking tour was superb. Interesting Urban art tour .

The Circus hostel is more expensive than other hostels in Berlin. However, the services are not really worth of the additional money. Breakfast is not included and need an extra of 5 Euro. Worst still, the staff like to talk about the guests behind their back. There was an occasion that the reception girl thought I have already gone upstairs with the lift and so started back mouth about me with other staff. She was very embarrassed when she found I suddenly returned and went to the coffee shop next to the reception. Worst still, they also like to exchange the personal information of the guests with other staffs/hostel guests after they saw the guests' personal information at the passports or ID cards. I am a bit surprise by that as I originally have an impression that people in Germany respect others' personal privacy but obviously this hostel is an exceptional case.

Our stay in Circus was great. Rooms were clean and tidy with colorful and tasty decoration. the building has a good street view, so you can open your curtains and watch th city while you rest. Location of the hostel is really good, very close to many main sights and just in front of Rosendthal Platz tram and subway station. Hostel has a good decorated loby, a cafe and a bar, so if you wanna meet travelers like you, it's a great option.

Staff of the hostel generally friendly and helpful. However, the attitude of the staff has changed when the shift changed. Girls on the reception was so friendly and helpful, but the night guy on the desk was totally awful. He has never answered a question or even have a little smile. I think, it's an individual case, but still it was the only negative part of our stay in Circus.

Amazing staff and I loved the bar downstairs! I would definitely stay here again!
