The location was nice and the room design as well the design of the whole hotel. The reading room downstairs was a plus.

I thought the staff wasn't that friendly apart from the girl on Monday morning, who was super friendly. I didn't like the fact that the roof terrace wasn't open, even if it was advertised as one of the great features of this hotel. I also couldn't find information about where the sauna was, the english hotel guide didn't mention the sauna at all! Overall, I wasn't too impressed and would have expected more from a 4 star hotel.

For a business traveller the internet broadband was inadequate. Slow and constantly disconnected. Very frustrating when trying to do work from room.

Practically everything:-) We go to Hamburg once a year for shopping and culture and we ALWAYS stay at the George! Great hotel.

I didn't like the pillows in the rooms . they were so soft .. I hope they can provide the rooms with harder one .. I really couldn't sleep because of this problem.

Room furniture: not a proper chair . Room Illumination level. Internet connection wifi was ok but with cable did not work.

I love this hotel, I've stayed here twice once in December when the hotel is very cosy and again in August when the roof bar is open and the hotel has a very different feel!

Too many fashion photo shoots take place in the hotel, I've stayed twice and it happened on both occasions. Also no business centre!

We stayed in the junior suite 5th floor, spacious and nice furnised, loved the bathroom. Roofterras great, when weather is good.

The receptionists were arrogant and not ery helpfull. I had a wheelchair because of knee operation, but I coudn' t enter with it.. Came with crutches, but nobody helpt with nothing! We found the room in the dark and had to find out, how on earth the ligthts work, hall pitchdark. Bed too soft, pillow also. For dinner they send us up to the roofterras, not considering, that the last floor has no lift and that I had to climb with the crutches. There was no choice, only very expensive cocktails and 3 meals to choose from. The prices overall were exorbitant, the staff young and not helpfull, but arrogant. The guest mainly young and YUP. We will not return.

The hotel is tastefully designed. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Service at front desk is friendly, informative and efficient. Access to town centre by bus no.6. Walk to central station takes under 10 mins.

Breakfast is pricey. A short walk to a nearby cafe will save you 10+ euros each. The spa is nice, if you don't mind sharing it with other guests (50% chance they are opposite sex). You may wear something into the sauna, but the shower? It does not even have a shower curtain!

Beautiful hotel. Good location not too far away from central station ( 7 minute walk) Staff were helpful and friendly and inviting I recommend this hotel gladly

Very close to the City Center

Uncomfortable pillows - unfortunately during my stay at George Hotel I could not sleep well purely for the above reason.

Car park is expensive Bar closed on a Friday night due to private party. Need to determine business model and who is the Customer or use alternative rooms.
