Classy hotel, attentive staff, amazing breakfast, super clean, comfy beds / bedroom.
Wifi free in lobby ~ is a good & bad thing! Would have liked tea / coffee in the room ~ but not majorly important.
The staff of the club lounge are awesome.
Wellness area is not up to the standards of Ritz-Carlton worldwide. Room service spent long time before showing up at your door.
From the friendliness of the staff, the comfort of the beds and the quality of the furnishings everything is done to make your stay in Berlin a perfect experience.
The room How quiet it was The cocktail bar The lobby Public relations manager excelled herself
Card readers broken upon arrival (long check in time) Initialy given the wrong room (issue rectified swiftly) Poor WiFi which you had to pay for.
MY husband and i absoloutly loved the staff they were so nice and willing to help. everything was very clean at presentable.
the CURTAIN CLUB
no inroom coffee or tea maker no showercaps in bathrooms
Lovely room with a huge bathroom, very friendly staff and very helpful
Only downside was having to pay for wifi
We always enjoy staying at the Ritz. The service is impeccable, the room is well appointed and the food at the restaurant is always top notch.
Location of the hotel is perfect, along With the hotel itself. Rooms are good comfortable size and quiet. The staff are simply excellent! Helpful, friendly, attentive. From entrance to floor staff.. Amazing team.
Heater in the room wasn't very powerful. In 2015, it's a shame that a hotel can still charge for Wifi !
Near various attractions, 10 minute-walk to Brandenburger Thor, Metro Staion in front.
Location Beds Rooms
Wifi to be paid for at such an expensive hotel. Tips expected by concierge staff Breakfast are looked like a train station and had to wait for 20 min to get my coffee and eggs. Mentioned that to the checkout desk, who did not even bother to have the courtesy to ask if they could remove the Bfast charge.
Room is spacious and luxurious and staff were mostly courteous.
I was invited to join the 'Marriot Scheme' when I checked in so that wifi is free. But I was hit with a huge bill on wifi charges when I checked out as they said that I booked the hotel through discount sites. It was quite an unpleasant experience! Hotels that charge internet should be name and shame! (Read the FT January 14 'Marriot Saga shows hotels must stop thje wifi racket') Breakfast queue is like queuing to enter a football match!!!
no wifi at the rooms
Great large room.
I though the breakfast was ok, could of been better.
Staff. Polite, professional. Very good breakfast, actually world class. Location!
Cleaners walked in to the room without knocking. Also, did not collect dinner after in room dining, left for 18 hours until checkout. It is simply not modern to Not offer free wifi.
Location was perfect, food was divine and our room was spectacular. Staff are very friendly and efficient. Asked for some bubble bath which they gave us gratis, which made up for no free wifi in our room. Highly recommend exquisite Hotel
Although there is complimentary wifi in the Lobby, you have to pay almost €20 for it in your room, that's poor. The English speaking channels on the TV didn't work, but in fairness they did tell us there had been technical issues with the previous guests. Highly recommend despite these minor irritations.
Such a hotel should offer free wifi in its rooms. This is 2015 at the end of the day and the chains that get to understand this and dont aim for the extra 10 euro in a 300-400 euro room will be rewarded
Staff amazing, hotel amazing. Would recommend to anyone. Planning my next trip in 4 weeks
The hotel lobby and rooms are quite nice, with relevant quality and furniture.
Unfortunately we didn't get the expected level of service and quality of Ritz hotels chain. We were requesting a baby bed through booking - which was not there upon arrival. During the whole stay there was a sting smell of the toilet in the bathroom. The staff the the breakfast was not nice and sometimes even quite rude. The breakfast hall itself made in the style of Paris brasserie, which was probably the design idea, but the atmosphere is the same - very crowded, lines for omelet, empty plates with in the buffet, forgotten coffee. At check out the lady even charged in USD from Euro card, even didn't asked, which cause some currency exchange rate losses. Wi-Fi is NOT free + they charge for EVERY device. Nowdays every person have 2 or three (iPhone, iPad, Laptop) - if calculate all the price for wifi becomes bigger then for the room. The location of the hotel was like we expected, but for the tourist trip - be careful it takes about 40 minutes to get to both East side or West side center by foot. These are all small things, but it should not be a small things for hotel, pretending for such level. I will definitely choose different hotel in Berlin next time.
The Hotel is great and most of the staff, especially the Concierges, were excellent. The Tea service was brilliant too.
The Brasserie! Our dinner on our first night January 1st was lacklustre and unappetising (the presence of a dead caterpillar in the Chef's salad didn't help!) Subsequent breakfasts were ok, but the staff varied from very good to just disintererestedf and offhand. Disappointing that a hotel of this standard doesn't have a more appropriate restaurant.
BAR, WORK AREA, GOOD SIZE JUNIOR SUITE, BREAKFAST, DOORMAN, LOCATION. BREAKFAST STAFF.
Location. Heating floor in the bathroom
Wifi problems all three days of stay and advise to the guest from staff to resolve problems with internet provider directly...
The location, very friendly, smiling and helpful staff. Confor and cleaning is very good.
Breakfast is very wide but it is not muslim-friendly. I only eat some chiese and chocolate.
The location is great, S and U stations are very close. The staff were very kind and helpful.
You could have expected that in this luxury hotel a free Wifi in the room will be available. Very disappointing.
