The Westin Bellevue Dresden  

I/We would have to say that the staff, upon arrival, were exceptionally helpful, ensuring we were advised of the best places to have our breakfast the next morning (Hoit spots also recommended within the guide book). The rooms were clean (minimum requirement though surely), well furnished and the beds were exceptionally comfortable. The bathroom was a pleasure to use and the overal ambience of the hotel itself, was especially condusive to the relaxing stay we were dreaming of.

I have no complaints, only feedback on the brokerage website we used, when booking the room... We were no informed of the true meaning of the price ranges. For example, we booked a room for 150Euro per night, but were not informed that if we booked a room for a little more money, we would have been one floor up. With the difference in floors being so much that you could see the famous river. The hotel pictures only showed the room views of the river Ebe. Not a big complaint, but we do not go away as often as business people who, I would expect were using the rooms above us... So perhaps a little more information on the rooms we were purchasing would have been so so well received.

The location was fabulous! The seeting along the Elbe river was marvelous. The proximity to the historic old city was great and the short walk was very romantic across the bridge over he Elbe. Within 1.5 Km walk was a modern shopping mall tastfully set in the old city. The Hotel had very nice amenities and the staff was very friendly.

The hotel was comfortable and well run. The desk staff were excellent and friendly. Our room was large, comfortable and the bathroom was good. It is a large hotel with some good public rooms and restaurants in the older part of the hotel. Our room was in a modern part but was fine. It was well insulated against noise - there is a busy road at the back of the hotel. Swimming pool very large and above ground so light. Fitness centre fine. The location suited us. Ten minutes across the bridge into the old city centre with museums, shops etc. We also really liked Neustadt which is the area near the hotel. Quieter than the old town for an evening meal - plenty of choice. Also antique and quality clothes shops to look at. We'll stay in this hotel again.

I found the bed a little too hard - though my wife was comfortable.

The stay , though for just 1 night was absolutely fantastic. One of the better hotels I have personally visited in my life. Great staff, very professional and courteous, clean and beautiful room with en-suite bath , great indoor pool and spa, and fabulous restaurants. I was pleasantly surprised when the chef cooked vegetarian specially for us ( because I am vegetarian , and there was nothing on the menu, which I expected). Nice rooms, great choice of local wines and brilliant room service. I felt really humbled by the warm welcome , the smiles and courtesy of the local hotel staff. The other advantage is its vicinity to the Dresden Town Center. Thank you , Bellevue

The hotel is very good in most ways. However, at peak times the limited parking capacity can be a problem when one is using a rental car. The internet is very, very expensive. The location is clearly marvelous as it offers direct views onto the historic city centre which is only five minutes away by foot.

Good location to view the old city, nice view. Very good value for money.

Room was too warm

Positioned between Altstadt and Neustadt perfect place for pre- Christmas city break. Hotel staff friendly, quick and helpful

Mineralwater in room should be complimentary or at least not 5.90 €

The view from the rooms that overlook the river is great. The rooms are comfortable and clean, spacious, bright. Breakfast is very good and the staff is extremely friendly and professional.

Everything was perfect; the hotel perhaps lacks a bit of "cozyness", but it's anyway a great place

Breakfast buffet was over priced. Hotel did not have any local feel about it.

The hotel was located in the middle of the city close to all the major sights.

The location of this hotel is the best! It is a 10 minute walk into the heart of Old Town Dresden.

My husband thought the internet was too expensive.

Very nice hotel- parked car for us and took care of our luggage. We also needed to go to a hospital and they directed us to the nearest emergency .
