Internet not included in price Very Loud (close to a busy street and smokers corner) No king size bed available Very long waiting time to check out
Inadequate lighting for reading pillows too soft no make up mirrow in bathroom or bed room
Very good Food, good wiens, perfect breakfast
Bed too smalle (standaard room). Airco did not really cool.
The VIEW! The pool.
Having to pay for internet and bottled water in your room. Breakfast overpriced.
On the river front.Just over the bridge from the old city. We walked to the Opera, Damenkirche, museums. Helpful staff.Beautiful city!
Did not try the breakfast because it was very expensive. Parking also a little pricey.
Well appointed rooms
Ridiculous charges for internet use. I will not use Westin hotels again until they follow what even small and much less expensive hotels offer for free as a matter of course
location, room, quality of service, comfort
High quality hotel. Staff very helpful providing info and directions. Good location.
Wifi was not free. Pool did not have steps for accessible entry by handicapped person.
Efficient staff, excellent location and facilities
Only hotel in during our 5-weeks of travels through Canada, usa, England & Germany that did not have free Wifi. The air-conditioning never worked properly for the 3 days of our stay making sleeping difficult; and, Euro10 for the use of stepladder for a day took the edge off our stay.
We booked a deluxe room but to us seemed to be a normal hotel room without any personality, frozen in the 70s. The promise view on the old city was a joke, we really had to straight our heads out of the window to see it. The rooms are located in a sad structure without charming that is only attached to the castle. All the night long we could not sleep because of the loud music coming from the wedding party in the hotel. During our stay in this hotel we learnt the different between etiquette and gentleness. The personal smiled and greeted us but we did not feel they really took care of us, when we complaint about the noise night no reparation measures were taken by the receptionist, no even a coffee to help us to stay awake after the horrible night. Breakfast is very expensive and the hotel parking place costs 16 euro per day, we had to park in the street for 6 euro per day. Very uncomfortable busy small place in front the hotel to up and download our luggage on the car. We were really happy to leave the hotel and will never come back.

The location close to historical areas nice view cleanness helpful staff enough spaces in rooms
No free internet connection, even in Lobby No tea pot in room No daily free water bottle
breakfast one of the best!!! location!
mattress,pillow dark gloomy pool
Location between Neustadt and Altstatd Wellness, Spa Friendly Barkeeper
Breakfast 21,-€! Forgot documents on the table and 4 hours after checkout nothing was found!
The Location is convenient. The breakfast was great. Decoration is also good.
We paid extra fee for deluxe room for better view. However, we did not have the rooms with Elbe river view. We are disappointed.
I had the impression of almost tranquil atmosphere in the hotel, a smiling, naturally acting receptionist added to the quietness of the place. The location offered a wonderful opportunity to walk over the bridge to the city centre. Next time I'm in Dresden, I will definitely stay here.
Very divers breakfast, nice room
No coffee maker in the room, difficult access to electricity socket
Good staff, good service Nice and comfortable Rooms
+ great location within walking distance both to Neustadt and Altstadt of Dresden with good connections to train stations + possibility to have a great view of the Altstadt + silent, comfortable rooms + nice walks in front of the hotel on the Elbe + good bakery and shops nearby in order to avoid expensive room service and breakfast
- some commodities like watercooker only available on request - water and breakfast ridiculously expensive (0.7l water for 5.90€) - small mixup with the booked room, bu the staff was friendly and resolved the issue in the end
the historical part of the hotel with large rooms; qualityfull breakfast
large hotel (400 rooms); no wifi included; fitness area has not convinced
The friendly service and their kindness in dealing with the problem after I had consumed a quantity of broken glass in my breakfast muesli. The result was I had to go to bed in the early afternoon because of severe stomach pains. The fault in my opinion is with the supplier of the product. I hope the manager has made strong complaint to the company concerned.
I was surprised that the receptionist adjacent to the breakfast area took little interest in my predicament after I had removed some larger pieces from my mouth. For this reason I notified the duty manager of my situation.
Some staff were really helpful,
No free Wi-Fi, eur5 for an hour No heavenly bed, pillows were the worst. Cob webs in room. Tired rooms need to be refurbished.
Great staff, very helpful at reception, the location is a pleasant walk from the centre of the old city across the river. Car parking is easy
Quiet and nice hotel with lots of facilities
A perfect location, good breakfast, spacious rooms.
Internet 14,50 Eur a day or 25 Eur a week! Is 21st century or what? A bottle of mineral water, which stands on the table, "inviting you to have a glass of it", costs almost 6 Eur... These are small details which ruin the image of a hotel. All people love small presents and modern people need free internet.
Excellent location close to the Augustus Bridge, air-conditioning was a bonus, great breakfast and very nice interior design.
