The room was noisy, the bathroom extremely small, the room smelt and the traffic noise was irritating

Very nice hotel with good location - 5 min from the main train station, 25 min from the airport that is situated on a quiet street. Relatively spacious room. The furnishing is not very new, but that's ok for a 3- star hotel - nothing torn or broken. Friendly english-speaking stuff. Excellent breakfast included in price and that's really a big advantage. All in all, 100% value for money.

Those who are planning to stay in Topas during hot summer season should be aware that there's no air-conditioning in the rooms, only a fan cooler.

The friendly and professional staff, the convenient and quiet location yet close to the Frankfurt train station, the delicious buffet breakfast, and of course the last-minute room price were all a definite plus. The thoughtful front desk gentleman gave me exact U-Bahn directions to my early morning appointment even when I didn't ask him directly. I appreciated the prompt service with a smile. Very impressive for a big city!

There were only two minor points - I couldn't figure out a way to control the room temperature (it was rather warm in my room) and the bed was a bit narrow for my 1 meter 75 cm + body. Of course that could very well mean I was just too tall for the bed and not that the bed was too small for the average guest. Really I had a lovely stay at the Hotel Topas, and liked the excellent , peaceful location, a stone's throw from the Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof train station.

Everything was perfect! Very friendly staff, quiet place, superclose to Main Train Station Frankfurt, short walk to shopping - Zeil, rich breakfast, the best price - performance ratio!

Friendly personnel, nice receptionist, cosy inside, clean rooms, comfortable bed, nice barroom. Not very far from the center and close to the train station. The same time the hotel is situated on a relatively quiet street if you compare with others in the same district.

Pipe in our bathroom was leaking. There was twin room, but with two beds. my husband had to sleep in between the beds.

We stayed only for 1 night and we were most outside exploring Frankfurt. However the room was huge and clean and the staff was helpful. The breakfast was simply excellent. Excellent choice of hotel for the price paid.

The floor of the room we were staying on the 5th floor was a little noisy...

Excellent value, very clean, good location, solid breakfast, courteous staff.

Almost everything. The staff was amazing -- friendly and helpful beyond expectation. The room was small but adequate and the shower was great. Free internet worked like a charm. Parking was easy. Very short walk to the train station, and from there transit to anywhere in the city.

Had requested a quiet room. Instead got room on the street side with lots of sirens and a very loud restaurant/bar just down the street. (I did not request a change once I got there -- The staff is nice enough, they might very well have done this). This was the worst bed I have ever encountered. Overly soft and you could feel springs through the mattress. That alone would make me reluctant to stay here again, even though everything else was really excellent.
