TOP Hotel Hammer  

Great location by station. Receptionist Inke was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good. This was our third stay at the Hammer over three years.

Clean, friendly, good breakfast and good value. Excellent location next to rail station with S Bahn connections to Frankfurt, the Airport, Wiesbaden etc... Ten minute walk to the Old Town Mainz. Great lay-over for traveling through Frankfurt

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Top Hotel Hammer. We will use it next time we travel to Germany, as staff were extremely helpful, courteous etc - cannot praise them enough. The breakfast which was included was excellent. Location just across the road from the railway station made it easy to arrive by train and when we had to collect our car on Monday, their office was at the station. I did expect to hear noise from outside but was suprised by how quiet it was. Excellent sound proofing. Please rate this hotel as Five Stars (Golden).

Very friendly staff and our room was large, quiet, clean and very modern and beautiful. The hotel was across the train station which was great as we had to catch the train to the airport and when we flew into Frankfurt Hahn the bus to Mainz stopped directly in front of the hotel. Wonderful for tired parents traveling with very young kids and a lot of luggage. Just a few steps a way was a great Spanish tapas restaurant and only a 10 minute walk to old town.

Proximity of the main station is an advantage for travelling by train and use of local transport. Despite the live outside traffic the room was quiet and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. Delicious breakfast.

I loved staying at the Hammer in Mainz. The location was excellent. the sound proofing at the hotel makes it hard to believe you are just across the street from the train station. It was extremly comfortable and restorative,great value. I look forward to staying again.

The staff treated me like a King. I can't say enough good things about them. My room was excellent and I was able to check in early because of the efforts of the staff. The breakfast was fantastic. Just across the street from the Hbf in Mainz, it was very convenient to the city by either walking or streetcar. There was absoluty no noise from outside with the windows closed. The airconditioner kept the room at the perfect temperature for sleeping. I will definately use Top Hotel Hammer again.

Very friendly and helpful staff, convenient location next to main station, very comfortable and quiet room, good lighting in room for working and free Wi-Fi, pleasant breakfast room.

Only minor points are: the towels were a bit small and not very soft, the only TV channel in English was CNN, and the guide to hotel facilities and Mainz was only in German. But these did not distract from a very comfortable stay at a reasonable price.
