TOP Hotel Hammer  

The time we had there was spent sightseeing the Rhien Valley and it was an excellent base for our travels. Helpful reception staff and lovely breakfast.

The staff were excellent and very helpful and friendly. The hotel is located right opposite the station. If you area driving like we were, you can park in the station car park for 3 euros for 24 hours. The hotel is very modern and clean and the room was nice. Wifi worked well and was free. Breakfast was very good. It was a fairly short walk into the centre of town. We enjoyed our stay here and I would recommend it.

Very neat hotel. Building is old so some narrow lifts, corridors and a small bar/lobby but it just made it cosy, not crowded or difficult. All in all I had a very nice stay.

The staff and service were first class. The room was fresh and clean with good facilities. The breakfast was excellent. Nothing was too much trouble. I will certainly stay there again.

We were extremely pleased with our stay in the top Hotel Hammer. The staff at the front desk is extremely (and genuinely) friendly, the rooms are big and spacious with nice views of the Hauptbahnhof. Free wifi is a nice addition too. All of this comes at a very reasonable price. What stood out to me were two things: upon entering the hotel at first, we were able to walk to our room with the key within 30 seconds. It was the fastest check-in I have ever encountered! After departure, we received an email from the hotel staff inquiring whether we had lost a pair of pants and if we wanted them to mail it to us. These pants turned out not to be ours, but in my opinion it gives an extremely positive reflection of the people running this place. How many hotels would do that? Finally, we were not familiar with Mainz and mainly came to visit friends. However, it turns out the (old) city is well worth a visit!

A nice modern hotel right at the Bahnhof. Clean rooms, lovely bathroom! Would be staying there again next time I am in Mainz!

Good value for money. Good location. Excellent reception staff. Large room with good bathroom. Had a fridge. Very good buffet breakfast with hot food served as well as European style breakfast. Close to laundromat and easy walking distance to restaurants and sights.

The staff provided excellent service. They were most helpful and provided an enjoyable stay. Breakfast was very reasonably priced with a great selection of foods provided. Breakfast room was light enjoyable and comfortable. Rooms were very clean and sizeable.

Everything was excellent, the location could not be better, very nice and clean room and bathroom, great breakfast, staff very friendly. I want to especially thank Ilana (hope I remembered her name correctly). I do not have words to explain how helpful and kind and nice she was. Highly recommended !

It was tottaly good location, just in front of the center station of Mainz. The interior is not gorgeous though reasonbly fine, and the stuff were very much kind. I definitely wish to stay this hotel when I visit Mainz again.

The hotel was easy to find, directly opposite the main rail station. Staff were very friendly and spoke good English. Buffet breakfast was very good. Liked having a room overlooking the forecourt to the rail station.

Hotel very nice and comfortable. Room was large and we had a great view of the city. Staff could not of been more friendly and accommodating. Would definitely stay there again.
