The hotel has a good central location and is well placed to tour the city and follow up your interests. I stayed at the hotel with my family in December 2004 and had such a good time that I decided to come back. Sylter Hof is a good hotel but in my view, it is now looking a little 'tired' and could do with a facelift or some 'tlc'. That said, I have no complaints - I got what I paid for, I enjoyed my short stay and I have no complaints! |

The suites on 2nd floor were spacious and quietly located. Breakfast good. 100 Bus passed right outside hotel with frequent departures to central location Berlin. 5 min walk to good shopping street. |

Good location for West Berlin with main bus route stop right outside. On checking in without asking I was handed pamphlets with street map and rail map and given advice on location and how to get around. |

I stayed in a large-size apartment room. It was very comfortable, clean, and well equipped. I stayed just one night, but slept very well. A bit far from the zoo station. But it is just in front of a bus stop of the line 100. If you go to the Potsdamerplatz, for example, by the line 200, you have to go back to the station and take the line 200. |

The location is absolutely great and tha staff was extremely kind. Air-conditions should have been nice, since the temperatur exceeded 30C during my stay. The single room was very hot. |

Room, we were given an air-conditioned suite for a standard room. Excellent breakfast, varied and abundant including fruit and vegetables, great value for money.Location No internet service for free. Large size towels not provided. |

Hotel is close to centre. Bus 100 (this bus will take you to all the highlights of Berlin) stops in front of the hotel. Rooms in the front side of the hotel were very noisy, the road is very busy. There is almost no ventilation in the room, so if you close the window it will be extremely hot. |

Location great, near merto and bus stops and KaDeWe. Hotel staff was very helpful and kindness. Breakfast was very good. Room was small but clean and comfort. Room was a little bit warm (summer), coz there was not aircond. but a fan in room was satisfactory. |

Excellent location, very nice and clean bathroom, room with sufficient space, very friendly and helpful staff. Hot rooms with no air-conditioning, dated decoration, expensive wireless internet (should be free). |

Great central location, excellant value for money and really nice staff It would have been nice to have in-room tea and coffee making facilities (all that is needed is a small kettle and small basket with coffee and tea sachets) |

very friendly and helpful staff. nice bar area. hotel is being renovated at present, so noisy on the ground floor. Another building is being renovated nearby, so back rooms are noisy. Front rooms give on to busy street. No air conditioning. |
