Hotel Transit    

Albert (The manager, I think) is the dictionary definition of hospitality. After a different hotel, which shall remain nameless, dropped us in the brown stuff cancelling our booking without telling us (Town Apartments, Checkpoint Charlie) Transit were unbelievably accommodating. For the price, amazing. Thanks!!!

The lift did not work (hotel is in fourth level of a normal house).

Small but functional room, comfortable bed, good quality hair-dryer, self- regulating heating (very handy for Berlin in cold months), varied buffet breakfast, bar (and check-in) open 24 hours, nice staff. Ideal for young and budget travelers, without frills.

They came around asking for "room service", to which we said No, not understanding that they were actually asking if we wanted our room made, but for us it wasn't really a problem, since we only stayed for 2 nights. The safe has to be activated by staff, and we couldn't use it on the first night since we arrived late and couldn't be bothered asking at the bar, but it was promptly activated for us the next morning.

The atmosphere in the breakfast room. It's a young place where one can easily meet people and have a chat. The room are simple but a good value for money.

The quality of the breakfast might be improved, still keeping using cheap stuff.

Bright, open breakfast and lounge area, free wifi, very good breakfast selection and quality. Very cozy.

Wifi doesn't reach to certain rooms.

I chose it because it was nere to my business venue. Also, it was easy to reach from Shoenefeldt Airport and convenient to get to either east of west side of Berlin. I liked the decor of the hote and the very cosy breakfast room with a good choice on the buffet table. morover, I was quite pleasantly surprisd coming home one night to find people dancing by the reception. Great idea.

I do not mind if there is no TV, but I would like to have at least a modest radio.

Great location in an area full of character, great restaurants and shops. A 5 minute walk from the U-Bahn and easy to reach using public transport from the airport. Plentiful buffet breakfast which is served until 12 noon.

Slightly noisy in the late evening/early hours, but after a heavy days sightseeing it was not too much of a problem.

Situation

No wifi in some rooms, we need to work and havent in our room.

Excellent location for the Bread & Butter show. Loads of great cafes and bars all around. Fantastic breakfast. Excellent, friendly staff.

This is a very clean, simple friendly hotel with a industrial edge. Very warm. We really enjoyed our stay and will book again.

This room was clean, and big enough for me and my four friends, transportation was also very convinient, it located in the city centre , and we can take U7 underground line go to airport. Also breakfast is included, very nice!

No wireless in bedrooms.

It is good value for money, located in vibrant quarter, very basic but at least very clean and they serve breakfast until 12.00!

Some basic things missing, like basic hair dryer. Difficult access to Internet

Wi-fi was not available in the room, only in the reception/lobby. However, our room was quite a long distance from the reception, so it is understandable.

The room was clean and the beds were comfortable.

The internet didn't work in our room. There was no T.V. or telephone in the room.

Friendly staff good location reasonable price, free parking locally, good breakfasts included n the price.good for kids-basic and comfortable

Our bathroom was leaky and a bit smelly and cramped-it could be improved straight away by putting in a new shower curtain, repairing the leak and adding a few shelves in the bathroom and removing the one under the mirror which obstructed the wash basin.
