The location, the fact that it was very clean and warm. The fact that the lift up to the rooms went from street level - as a woman travelling alone I wondered about safety.

I slept soundly as the hotel is situated in a quiet area. It is a short walk to the S-Bahn and tram lines and is even short enough to walk into Alexanderplatz and on to Unter den Linden if you fancy walking. As it was late October when I stayed there, I thought an extra blanket would've been nice, although the air conditioning kept the room warm.

I stayed at the Transit Loft for 2 nights. Overall, the room was comfortable and the staff was nice. The services provider are quite basic, and this is by no means a luxury hotel. However, it provides good value for money. The window curtains do not completely block the sunlight, which is a bit uncomfortable if you want to sleep late.

Good location very near the center, clean spacious rooms. Free wi-fi (which did work in our room in addition to public area, although not promised in the booking system). A fairly nice breakfast included and served until 12, which was nice for a change. A very good value for the money. We stayed at this hotel 5 nights around the New Year´s, and it turned out that it was a youth hotel (didn´t notice this from the booking system). Indeed there were a lot of teenagers around, and with the festivities going on, there was a lot noise in the corridors in the night time with plenty of giggling and stomping. So not for light sleepers, as the soundproofing was poor.

The hotel was in a poor location, it felt unsafe in the area after nightfall. The room itself was the most uncomfortable room I've ever had the inconvenience of staying in. The room, bed linens and towels all smelt damp, almost moldy. The bedroom and bathroom were dirty and poorly decorated with chipped paint, faded pictures and moldy grouting. The breakfast 'buffet' was poor, low quality food and drinks, and if you were in a rush you got scolded for taking a sandwich away with you. The Internet access was perhaps the only redeeming feature, however, if you wished to use it after 7 pm, then good luck.. As it practically comes to a halt. All in all I would not stay here again, not if I was paid to.

Location (Prenzlauer Berg) , freindly helpful staff, proper beds for everyone, cotton sheets, practical comfortable rooms, big airy light reception/sitting/dining space. Elevator. Suggest toaster for breakfast.

Good breakfast, great bed! A bit hard to find, it's inside an alley. Judging by how it look on the map, it seemed near U-bahn (selefender) but it was not that close. As a result my luggage's wheels broke

Breakfast is excellent, fresh, rich variety. Staff is very nice. Rooms are big (booked double bed room and single bed room, got 2 x four bed rooms). Located near nice cafés, restaurants and near Alexanderplatz. Quiet - could easily sleep with window open. Smelly carpet with huge stains (you must leave the window open all the time, luckily it was summer), smeary windows, dusty interior. Mattress very old and uncomfortable. All in all: value for money: prices too expensive for what you get!

The price was very reasonable and included a decent breakfast, from a good range of food. The room was a good size and the bathroom did the trick. Situated close to Alexanderplatz, which is a ten minute walk or 3 stops on the tram. Also the hotel is an interesting building conversion, which I believe used to be a warehouse or factory once. Close to a supermarket, newsagent, bank, and several places to eat. Including a delicious Thai restaurant. Metal safe in room, lockers for bag on day of departure storage. Computer (small fee) No air conditioning. Got very hot at night, was stung by mosquitos when opened window

The front desk staff were amazing! We stayed in 5 different hotels/hostels and this location was by far the most spacious, comfortable and clean of them all. I would go back here in a heart beat.

The hotel was clean, the staff were friendly and helpful and the price was reasonable for the type of hotel in Berlin. Breakfast was fine for the genre, and the Internet worked in the room unlike many of their competition. It's difficult to find for a first time, they need to give better directions. The rooms are fine but facilities are limited or non-existant. Not the right place if you want to watch the news on TV, but fine if you're there to enjoy Berlin.

Good value for money, clean & spacious room, spacious entrance hall, good breakfast. Reasonably good location (I originally thought it is closer to Kollwitz Platz) I was concerned about security. Anbody can go into the elevator and access the rooms and the entrance hall ! that is a bit scary. Good to see that there are still places in the world, where this does not seem to worry anyone, but still: prevention is better than tears shed after

Room size and cleanliness All the rest! No minimal comfort in the room. No hair fan, no tv set, telephone minibar and the rest of common thinks you expect to find in hotel. Stuff is very polite but absolutely useless. In my case they couldn’t order a taxi to airport!!! I had to walk about 1.5 km until train and change 2 trains my way to airport. This is not hotel but hostel for young people without any problems except hormones :)
