Nice staff, good breakfast, pretty good location in Prenzlauer Berg Hallways/dining hall too noisy because of poor acoustics - install some sound deadening materials in the hard ceiling.

The place has a wonderful buffet breakfast daily. I ate so well that touring Berlin all day was no problem! It is in a friendly neighborhood near bars, grocery stores, parks and public transportation. The rooms were clean with huge windows and high eilings. In all, it was one of the best places I have stayed in .

I thought the staff were very helpful and good natured - they were always willing to give directions, advice and help with practical things, such as booking taxis and storing my medication in fridge. I liked the laid back atmosphere. I liked the industrial architecture - like the pipes along the corridor ceilings. I liked the bar and the drinks were reasonably priced. The area was fine with lots of places to eat out reasonably. The hotel is perfect for large groups, enabling some to party on late into the night but it was quiet enough for the older ones (like myself!) to sleep quite peacefully. We were on an art trip and visited many galleries and the vibrant atmosphere at the hotel was very conducive to arty types. The accomodation is very basic - it is more of a hostel than a hotel and the facilities reflect that. The lifts were temperamental which was a challenge as I have mobility problems. The entrance is hard to find - we arrived late at night and the first lift was out of order and there was just an arrow pointing vaguely off to the left, we wandered around the back for a while before looking again - bit of a nuisance when you are tired and its dark, the hotel could use clearer signage. That said the hotel was no more or less than I expected and the price -28 euros per person per night in a triple room - reflects the facilities fairly.

Good location very near the center, clean spacious rooms. Free wi-fi (which did work in our room in addition to public area, although not promised in the booking system). A fairly nice breakfast included and served until 12, which was nice for a change. A very good value for the money. We stayed at this hotel 5 nights around the New Year´s, and it turned out that it was a youth hotel (didn´t notice this from the booking system). Indeed there were a lot of teenagers around, and with the festivities going on, there was a lot noise in the corridors in the night time with plenty of giggling and stomping. So not for light sleepers, as the soundproofing was poor.

I slept soundly as the hotel is situated in a quiet area. It is a short walk to the S-Bahn and tram lines and is even short enough to walk into Alexanderplatz and on to Unter den Linden if you fancy walking. As it was late October when I stayed there, I thought an extra blanket would've been nice, although the air conditioning kept the room warm.

Good breakfast, great bed! A bit hard to find, it's inside an alley. Judging by how it look on the map, it seemed near U-bahn (selefender) but it was not that close. As a result my luggage's wheels broke

The price was very reasonable and included a decent breakfast, from a good range of food. The room was a good size and the bathroom did the trick. Situated close to Alexanderplatz, which is a ten minute walk or 3 stops on the tram. Also the hotel is an interesting building conversion, which I believe used to be a warehouse or factory once. Close to a supermarket, newsagent, bank, and several places to eat. Including a delicious Thai restaurant. Metal safe in room, lockers for bag on day of departure storage. Computer (small fee) No air conditioning. Got very hot at night, was stung by mosquitos when opened window

The front desk staff were amazing! We stayed in 5 different hotels/hostels and this location was by far the most spacious, comfortable and clean of them all. I would go back here in a heart beat.

Room size and cleanliness All the rest! No minimal comfort in the room. No hair fan, no tv set, telephone minibar and the rest of common thinks you expect to find in hotel. Stuff is very polite but absolutely useless. In my case they couldn’t order a taxi to airport!!! I had to walk about 1.5 km until train and change 2 trains my way to airport. This is not hotel but hostel for young people without any problems except hormones :)

Fantastic large room, plenty of space and very clean with modern a bathroom suite. Staff were very friendly and always helpful, the breakfast buffet is available til 12 which is always good for late risers or those who have been to sample the Berlin nightlife! Location is excellent, round the corner from a tram stop and 10 minutes to the city centre, plenty of good bars and restaurants to choose from around the hotel area too.

Very cheap hotel for a group of people. Breakfast was brilliant. Location is not the best one - about 20 minutes walking to Alexanderplatz. No free parking next to the hotel, however, reception staff advised us where we can park for free.

Great value for money!! The room was comfortable and clean. Hotel not too far from the M4 tram which is only 10 mins into Alexandraplatz. The man on reception was soo friendly and helpful too! And breakfast was excellent. The area was full of cool places to eat and drink with lovely shops nearby as well.
