Brühl's Hotel Trapp (Superior)    

The room was very nice and clean. The staff was very kind.

Heater does not work in April. It was a little bit cold.

Stayed three nights, central but quiet, in a lovely town. Everything very clean and of good quality. Plenty of places to eat nearby. Could not fault this hotel.

bathrooms are smaller than US standards but very clean and well taken care of.

The location near the center of town and on a quiet street was great. The breakfast included with the price had plenty of options. We really appreciated the free parking and the cleanliness of the room. The room was no frills but it was a good value for the price.

I found the mattress too hard but my husband didn't mind it.

For 3 days despite complaints, room 215 smelled like a sewer. If you have experience with the old European straight pipe toilets with no trap to block odors, you know what this place smelled like. This alone disqualifies the hotel for any rational person. The hotel staff seemed blithely unconcerned about the issue. We stayed in our first European hotel in 1960, so we know what we are talking about.

Their breakfast was outstanding!

Very noisey throughout night and early morning hours on street side of hotel.

This hotel is beautifully decorated with ornamental ducks adding to the friendly atmosphere. The staff were excellent and very helpful and made me feel at home. The location was excellent, just a short stroll away from the busy tourist streets, but far enough away so there was no noise at night. I travelled by train and it was an easy walk from the train station.

I had difficulty logging onto the internet in my room, but it worked well in the hotel foyer, which was no problem for me, and more socialable, as I was able to meet other guests as they came in or out of the hotel.

Position in the town; not too close to the busy road and railway and in easy walking distance of the river and shops.

Had some difficulty in locating the building because a sign for the hotel was displayed on an adjacent building that was above the hotel's car park. The room containing the washing facilities and shower was rather small.

Theie public toilets are lovely with nick nacks and perfumes,hairspray,proper hand towels etc. Breakfast is very good and noticing that I had some gluten free bread with me they raced to supply me with a package of various gluten free breads which they had ready.

Good location and excellent breakfast. The dining room was fully booked but they gave us a late table and the food was excellent.

Rather plain rooms.

Location away from the river / railway on the edge of the town with everything in easy walking distance lovely hotel / room / breakfast and a resturant but only open in the evenings fron 18:00 to 20:00 hrs that was on a monday evening thou, with a lovely breakfast the next morning.

Over priced for what there was

The breakfast was amazing, the breads, salami, ham, cheese, eggs, yogurt, what else you want ...

The restaurant closed too early, at 8:20 h the kitchen was declared closed and even I was a guest there was no exception and I went to have dinner in a quite close restaurant which food was wonderful. Considering the price I suppose to find some emergency stuffs in the bathroom as shampoo, etc. what did not happend. The free wi-fi did not work well, I could use once and after that I could not login again.

I was the only guest and was treated like family.

Expect traditional German cooking with no surprises, and lots of decorative ducks. I wish German restauranteurs realized that although an asparagus festival is a wonderful thing, travellers who have experienced asparagus festival for four weeks would love some variation.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The staff were friendly and the dinner in the restaurant was delicious! We would love to come back someday.

The hotel is visually attractive. The staff are friendly and helpful. The complementary breakfast is wonderful. The location is excellent in Rudesheim. I would return again.

The rooms are clean and sunny and the hotel is situated in a quiet and peaceful area. The breakfast is good and the entire hotel is very neat and welcoming.

My bookings.com quotation was 102 Euro but the hotel charged 118 Euro. To me this is not professional and I will advise travellers to ensure that they have the necessary proof with them.
