Hotel Traube Rüdesheim    

Staff very helpful in trying to overcome many issues including supplying an electric fire as room heating was not working.

Hotel is very scruffy and well-worn. We had dirty, torn wallpaper plus a large hole appearing in the ceiling plaster. The bath surface was so worn it was uncomfortable to sit in and all heating in bathrooms has been disconnected as 'the room heat is enough'. I don't know which room was used in web photos but ours and others on our floor were nothing like that one. Badly in need of full renovation.

Great staff and room. Being there on an offseason weekend we got a great rate and a standard room that was very large for a German hotel room. Location is right on the river, which is also right next to Drosselgasse (the historic Main Street) and the train tracks. Our room was just behind the facade rooms, so train noise was not an issue for us. Overall a great stay, and since this was our first trip to rüdesheim we will definitely try to stay here again next summer!

A minor complaint, but the rooms were dated. All was clean and in working order though.

The staff were extremely efficient and fast at check in and check out. Breakfast was delicious and fresh. Hotel is right in the core of Rudesheim, and close to both the train station and our ferry. Bar downstairs was great.

We couldn't stay another day in this excellent hotel.

Location, short distances everywhere. Train station, ferries, some nice restaurants, Drosselgasse within easy reach.

Cannot understand the four star classification. Small rooms, even smaller bathroom, thin walls. Breakfast very basic.

This hotel was very friendly, the staff very helpful and excellent location. 2 blocks from the train station, 1 1/2 blocks from the little train that goes through the vinyards and part of the town, 2 blocks from the most visited street of the town and the great restaurants with live music. You will also find a boat ride station that takes you through the most beautiful part of the Rhine for 21/2 hours and you can come back by train (20 minutes) or by boat again (21/2 hours). Make sure to get off the boat at the same side of the river where is your hotel, otherwise you can take a ferry.

Our room was a little small but we were very happy in the hotel. The bathroom was small but in great condition. We truly enjoyed this hotel.

Good location for walking around the town. Car park can be difficult with a large car!

we had a reservation for the parking. but it was already full. so we could park in the underground garage (for the same price). but when you have a big car, it's almost impossible.

the room seemed a bit unfinished - no towels in room initially and the minibar had only 1 beer - despite a request to stock it with more beer and not spirits. we booked a car parking space - but on arrival there was none available - but the price of the car parking was still on the bill when checking out

Location was the best thing I liked about the hotel.

I was very disappointed about the number of stairs we had to climb to get to our rooms . The size of the room compared to the price we paid was also very disappointing

Netter Empfang, nur wenige Schritte in die Altstadt

extrem kleines Doppelzimmer, kaum grösser als das Bett, extreme Enge auf dem Hotelparkplatz, ausgesprochen schlecht lärmisolierte Zimmer, nächtlicher Lärm auch durch die vor dem Hotel liegende lebhafte Güterzugstrasse

Gezellige ligging in het stadje. Nette kamer. Prima ontbijt. Zeer gastvrij personeel.

Wij hadden de fietsen mee en moesten betalen voor stalling in de garage.

Das Personal war ausgesprochen sehr freundlich und sehr aufmerksam...!

Ich habe nichts zu beanstanden!

L'accueil, la qualité des prestations, le petit déjeuner compris dans le tarif.

приветливый персонал, наличие небольшого бассейна, очень вкусный завтрак, все очень свежее и разнообразное, красивый вид на реку из ресторана. а вот комнату лучше брать с видом во двор, т.к. вдоль реки проходит железная дорога от чего становится достаточно шумно.

Ligging. Junior Suite weliswaar aan achterkant gelegen maar ruim balkon en minder lawaai van de treinen. Zwembad.

Ontbijt; op hun website wel erg luxueus voorgesteld. Vraag je om een spiegelei dan wordt geknikt maar er komt niets (blijkt het personeel alleen Pools te verstaan). Te weinig personeel als er groepen verblijven - geen tijd om ontbijttafels af te ruimen door slechts 1 persoon. 5 dagen uitzicht gehad op het afval onder ons balkon. Erg veel trappen (geen lift vanuit parkeergarage) en trapjes - hotel blijkt uit verschillende panden te bestaan (en uit 2 hotels). Ben je slecht ter been dan niet heen gaan. Onze hotelingang was vanaf de derde dag gesloten......geen idee waarom.

Wel de kwaliteit van de lucht in de kamer was te droog, ik had er last van thv keel, er was geen douche in een superior kamer, dat viel tegen blijkbaar was het hotel ook gesloten en samengegaan met een carathotel ernaast, de fotos van de superiorkamer kwamen aldus niet meer overeen, en de kamer die we kregen was in mijn ogen een gewone standaardkamer, en geen superior

Das Personal war freundlich. Die Wassertemperatur im Pool abgenehm.

Das Hotel Traube war zum gebuchten Termin (28./29.März) noch gar nicht eröffnet, wir wurden ins benachbarte Carat-Hotel einquartiert. Die Leselampen, normalerweise auf dem Nachttisch, waren an der gegenüberliegenden Wand montiert. Das Bett konnte aber nicht verschoben weren, weil dann die Zimmertüre nicht hätte geöffnet werden können! Ein einziger Nachttisch (natürlich ohne Licht) war vorhanden und bestand aus einer Holzkiste und einem Tuch darüber! Einen Schreibtisch gab's auch nicht, da musste der blanke Kühlschrank herhalten (nachdem man den kleinen Röhrenfernseher (!!) auf die Erde gestellt hatte). Ein Bild an der Wand wäre wohl schon zuviel des Guten gewesen. Ebenso vielleicht ein zweiter Stuhl im Doppelzimmer. Die Klimaanlage besteht aus einem mehr oder weniger offenem Fenster. Da unmittelbar vor dem Hotel die Eisenbahn im gefühlten Zweiminutentakt vorbeifährt, kann von Nachtruhe auch nicht wirklich gesprochen werden. Der Weg zum Pool ist weit, da wäre es nett, wenn Bademäntel verfügbar gewesen wären. Die Sauna ist klein, einen Ruheraum gibts nicht, dafür ganze drei Liegestühle im Schwimmbad!! Wie dieses Haus auf vier Sterne kommt, ist uns absolut rätselhaft. Nach unserem Dafürhalten hat's nicht mal einen verdient. Das Frühstück ist an sich ausreichend, aber lieblos präsentiert. Schwarztee zum Frühstück erst nach längerem Suchen durch die Rezeptionistin (!!) erhalten. Die angebotenen halbierten Eier mit Mayo-Verziehrung blieben allesamt unangetastet und hätten bestenfalls die Lebensmittelkontrolle interessieren müssen. Ach ja, die hoteleigene Tiefgarage! Eine Herausforderung, wenn Ihnen die Aussenspiegel Ihres Wagens lieb (und teuer) sind.
