We enjoyed our visit at Treff a great deal. The breakfast was excellent, location very good (close to the old city), and staff very helpful. I liked this hotel a great deal. It was very clean and the layout very good. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
Location, friendly staff, nice rooms and good breakfast
Too small comforter... A big one for the whole bed woud be much better than small individual one, more confortable and stable.
Staff rude and unprofessional. Waited for a room to be ready for an hour. Room was ok but stayed in better hotels. Not a 4 star hotel
friendly staff Good size room Good choice at breakfast
Pillows too soft
Clean rooms, hotel close to the center of the city
Very small claustrophobic room, wifi signal is weak and every time loose connection
Near to shops and Christmas markets. Friendly hotel staff. Good breakfast plenty of choice.
No drink making facilities in the room.
Excellent breakfast, friendly and helpful staff, good value for money.
Unstable WiFi connection.
Breakfast, friendly staff
rooms are not clean, very low quality wi-fi, hotel location in the local "red light district"
Staff and comfort
Very friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast was very good value for money also.
The room was was very small and cramped.
It is a good, nice, central hotel. Usually it takes not more than 10 min to reach munchen center and marienplatze and the very famous shopping st. Also the center station is just at the end of the st. Lovely staff very clean and organized. I think next time in munchin will be at treff hotel
Kind and efficient staff. Clean and comfortable room. Near to the centre (15 min walk).
The zone is full of red light clubs, with many "pretty womens" outside.. Not reccomended for families with children.
Treff Hotel was clean, quiet and had a good breakfast. It was relatively close to the Central Train Station.
Our room was so small that the bathroom door would only open 1/3 of the way, it wold stop when it hit the bed! There is very little room for luggage. The corner of the street had old women wrapped in dark clothing, begging.
The staff were all very helpful, the location of the hotel was good to be able to explore city centre. The breakfast in the morning was fantastic far too much choice and all of it good quality.
Because of its location the rooms at the front of hotel although bigger do suffer with noise from outside.
The raum it self is very clean and comfortible. Bad is clean.
Bed was not comfortible. We ask for a room with king size bad, but get 2 beds near. Once there were no big towels and cleaner didn`t find it
The kitchen staff Daytime reception staff member
On our last night staying at Hotel Munchen, when I went out with a friend and my partner stayed at the hotel for an early night, she was abruptly woken up by the night time reception staff member standing over our bed and staring at her while she slept. As expected, being terrified by a stranger staring at her in the dark, she immediately screamed as loud as she could. The staff member quickly ran from the room with no explanation and no apologies. When I returned and was told what had happened I questioned the man who very nervously and fervently denied, with still no rational explanation with why he was in our room. The next morning when we confronted the hotel manager, he was completely dismissive, callas and rude. He even went so far as to ask whether she was sure it wasn't just me. For starters I am not 50+, I don't wear glasses! I have long hair and he is bald, and I wouldn't run away from my screaming girlfriend. Later I was also told that the night receptionist does a security check through the halls at night (where there are no security cameras) and has a master key too all the rooms. Nobody has the right to enter another's room unless invited, especially when it is in the middle of the night, in a foreign country and you are asleep and at your most vulnerable. One of the more chilling parts is that this night receptionist had a conversation with me earlier that night and new that I was leaving and new that I was going to be away for a number of hours. For a place where we spent the most money ($1600+ for two people for 4 nights) and where we thought we would be the safest throughout all our travels of Europe, my partner has been left traumatised, offended, doubted and demoralised by at least two staff members of this hotel. To this day she is still sickened by what happened. I would rather, and recommend staying at the cheapest hostel than staying at Hotel Munchen. At least in a hostel you have safety in numbers.
The staff was friendly and the breakfast was very good. The location is an easy walk from city center.
The hotel is in Munich's red light district: Surrounded by gentlemen's clubs and casinos! We didn't feel unsafe, but not the best environment for kids.
I had requested a room in a quiet location and was pleased when allotted a room far away from the main street. The guy at reception was very helpful and this made the visit all the more enjoyable Very importantly the hotel was within a short walking distance of the Railway Station
Unluckily, there was a fire scare in the early hours of the morning and we all had to bail out of our rooms- not the hotels fault.
The friendly and welcoming staff are extremely accommodating. The rooms, while small, really provide everything you need. The breakfast was excellent, with omelets made to order, but it is extra.
The rooms are small. The location, while very close to Oktoberfest and central, is not what I expected nor did I care for it especially in the late hours.
cleaness , quitness ... everything
Modern rooms, polite staff, quiet room, clean, excellent breakfast, close to central station
Carpet stains in bedroom, key cards did not work, lift extremely slow, location is all sex bars
Very friendly staff, location near railway station and activities around munich. Everything was walking distance.
Check in took a long time as the room was not ready. However, they found us a different room, although it took some time.
Wifi and breakfast was great
Price was way overpriced for the hotel. Nothing special made it worth 300euro a night.
