Very close to the central station and main town. Modern, spacious rooms with comfortable beds. The cleaners in the morning were rediculously loud. In fact they woke us up every morning. With the floors of each room being wood, as beds were moved to clean, the noise was dreadful. I would advise ear plugs if you wish to sleep past 7.30am. |

Tyrp was a clean and comfortable hotel at a reasonable price and great location for Oktoberfest. Smoking areas in floor lobbies was offputting and the internet terminals in the lobby were broken. |

Close to the main station, Oktoberfest, pedestrian zone, U-bahn and places to eat all nearby. no tea coffee facilities in the room. |

I stayed in tryp munchen jusr one night,as me and my son wanted to visit bmw welt on the way to the Salzburg,and it was so handy for us because hotel is just 5 min walking from train station. Hotel is not central location but have to remember that in Munich is very good public transportation,would take just min and you will be in old town....if you are on budget holidays never will go wrong with TRYP....mean location and price... |

Very friendly reception, clean room, good location - only a few minutes walk from Munich training station while the hotel is in a quiet and nice surrounding. Couldn't get our room until 2:00pm. |

Everything was ready before our arrival, so that a check-in didn't take a lot of time. A staff was nice. I liked a location, a price and a room. |

No A/C. The telephone did not work. The TV remote control was all damaged and did not work properly. No channels in english, except for CNN. The bed was uncomfortable. And too much light entered in the room from the garden of the hotel. Never a 4 stars. |

Near the train station, and they would watch your bag all day. The front desk staff was very friendly and attentive. Expected more from a four star hotel. |

The location of the hotel is central to the train station and 15 minutes walk from the pedestrian area of Munich. Staff were efficient and helpful. |

Great, helpful staff, very clean hotel. The staff worked out a different room situation for us, accommodating our needs quite well. The location was not the greatest. |

The hotel description is misleading - it's good 2km outside of the pedestrian zone, hardly "in the heart of the city." Situated on a busy 4-lane street, gets very noisy early in the morning due to rush hour traffic. Room was large but cramped with tasteless outmoded furniture; bathroom clean but small and old-looking. Lobby feels uncomfortable and unpleasant, almost like a train station. |

Convenient location within walking distance from Hauptbahnhof station and Zentrum is a clear plus. However, one should not expect too much from the hotel itself - the facilities apparently need some renovation and the reception staff - training in card operations and general service. |

Location near the Hauptbahnhof, good bed in the room. Good breakfast buffet Restaurant was under construction, therefore no decent meal available in the evening (not mentioned during booking process). Very small room (bed placed next to the wall). Tasteless furniture (unlike description on the site). No other facilities available or very unattractive. General look and feel of the hotel is unpleasant. |

A good place to stay if you are going to arrive or go out by train from the central station. Although it is no extremely close (about 7 minutes by walk) it is a bit aside from the busy and noisy station square. The stuff is quite good, everything other is OK as well. Very common problem for all the hotels in the world: something leaky in the bathroom. In our case the curtain was made out of pure cotton, just like a bed-sheet. In addition the shower holder is set so the shower is directed just athwart the curtain. So every time you take shower you should collect the water at the floor. |
