bad service from rude staff on reception. limited free WIFI and no air con
The front office staff were so rude that I would not stay at this hotel again. The only staff member that had any idea of customer service worked in the bar, and he apologised for the rudeness of the front office staff. The hotel itself was fine, but I would not stay again due to the lack of customer service or awareness.
1. Very poor wifi and not free 2. Towels are not clean and old 3. Noisy and no privecy. 4. Expensive parking
Rooms are comfortable. The position is very good to reach the historical center by walking 5 minutes.
The hotel parking is crappy. Do not park there if you wanna save your car.
No air conditioning, made the nights a bit uncomfortable
Staff are pleasant, rooms are nice.
Property is slightly to far from Main Centre of town, possibly 700 metres.
Good location near U Bahn and the Oktoberfest site, even outside of Oktoberfest, there are some nice cafes and good running routes around there
Internet a little slow
The fact I asked several times girt my bathroom to be disinfected and cleaned and it never was throughout my stay. When I checked out still stunk of urine from previous inhabitants. Disgraceful.
Good location: a couple of blocks from the main train station, Octoberfest Fair grounds, and Old town. Had all the things we needed, with the requisite European charm.
Entrance & exit from room was tight/cramped, and the room was priced comparably to other hotel rooms that gave you a lot more space.
Friendly and helpful staff and a reasonably central location. On site restaurant was good value and breakfasts were extremely generous and varied in choice. It was a very comfortable walk to city centre and access to hop on/off buses and other public transport.
Lack of air conditioning. it was only in the high 20's, but the open balcony door just wasn't enough.
The only reason we were there was for a tour pick up..
My travel group use this hotel,so we booked 5 nights prior to tour..1st of our nights sooo hot,the air con in room NOT connected! We had to change rooms plus pay extra for 5 nights to have air con. 5 star hotel No No NO..In an area close to main Railway BUT full of Turkish and I don't know what to say different people to us??? Slum type of area! Never again, and Ihad a cousin to take us around..or we would have moved did not feel safe. Carolyn
Room was street side and noise became unbearable. Also, we were not allowed to use the air conditioning without further payment and had to keep our windows open in order to have some oxygen circulation. Furthermore, even though we booked the room specifically with free wifi, we only received a wifi code for one device and it was limited to 50 mb. When we asked for another access code, we were asked to pay approx. 5 euros per person for it. The overall experience of the hotel stood in no relationship to the price paid for the room and after traveling around Europe for over three weeks this was by far the most expensive and worst hotel experience. Never would I book a room with this hotel-chain again.
Location- central Breakfast good.
We booked 3 nights the most expensive room - Premium- on the 6th floor. We arrived at the hotel on a very hot day- 33-34 degree celcius..... There was no airconditioning....the staff at the reception refused to change the room claiming that there are no rooms with airconditioning left. The staff was totaly unfriendly and not helpful. They claimed that the substitute of the airconditioning will cool off the room. But this device made a big noise (how can one sleep at night ?)and could not cool the whole area. We were 2 couples who booked the preimuim rooms. We decided to leave the hotel and to look for another one, then all of a sudden came the manager of the hotel and provided us (only one couple) with an airconditioned room for 3 nights. A big nice room. The menager was helpfull and polite and explained that the hotel had renovations made recently and only 40 rooms out of 100 were equiped with airconditioning. Well- why was I not told about the problem while chcking in ? Why did they put me in an unpleasant situation ? We won't be staying in this hotel any more nor recommend it to our friends.
v. good food and wine in the restaurant
i would not recommend this hotel to wheelchair users. the wheelchair friendly bathroom has at least four design faults- 1. a tiny step into the bathroom making it impossible for the wheelchair user to exit the bathroom unaided. 2. a ridge down the middle of the bathroom floor which prevents the wheelchair user from accessing the washhand basin and shower unaided. 3. the location of the washhand basin soap dispenser is very difficult for a wheelchair user 4. the location of the shower soap dispenser is too dangerous for a wheelchair user
Location was good.
Hotel layout poor with many rooms overlooking a central courtyard which was noisy into late evening and again early morning - poor sound-proofing at windows and thin walls between rooms meant a poor night's sleep. Room not clean, with surfaces sticky and unwiped from prior guests, and a kettle that was dirty and unusable. Staff variable. Some were helpful and very good. Others were unfriendly and unhelpful. Poor quality and ripped towels in bathroom.
Location is good. Design is modern yet simple. Rooms are very basic-feels like a dorm room.
The bathroom didn't offer the usual shampoo, lotion, bodywash bottles or anything else. It was just one type of soap out of a squeezy tube.
Great location within walking distance if train station and easy walk to main plazas and sight seeing
Very good breakfast.
It was near the central station and a walking distance from the historic center.
Not too far from center.
Staff not friendly Parking expensive Breakfast not included and expensive Internet limited, must get ticket to get internet and doesn't last long Noisy Small room Bed squashed in the corner of the room. I had to climb over my husband every time I wanted to go to the loo. No English channels TV on the left of the bed Not recommended at all
-The location is good. - staff at reception were helpfull and supportive.
- bed is not comfortable. - didn't find an Electric Apabter. they gave me two but both of them were not working. I went to buy new adapter so I can charge my phone. - WIFI is very slow and get disconnected. - No body helps you with the luggage. you need to take everything to the room by your self.
Location somewhat close to shopping.
No built in ventilation. Was told to open the window. Noise from street came through opened window. When I asked to switch to an inside room, the manager said that that's what I'll get for a standard room.
When we arrieved we had a problem with a overbooking, so they moved us to another hotel, Fleming's Hotel München-City, we were very tired but the Fleming's was great! The breakfast is just perfect.
Wi-fi, you need to get a passwor for each device, validated by 24 hours, sometimes works, sometimes not.
Location next to the train station was really good, the hotel is excellent, staff very helpfull
Only limited wifi for this type of hotel should not be limited, over priced mini bar & laundry facilities
Breakfast was OK
Wi-Fi was flat all right but after each 50 MB I had to go down at the reception desk for next 50MB and so on. Ain't that funny, they could have put 500MD then all right but 50MB really pissed me off. I didn't know for that trick until I got there as it wasn't writen on web when I booked it. For not comming each 5minutes for next 50MB the charge 5€ :-D The rest was fine except one Turkisch receptionist who wanted to rip me off for 20 € more charging me the room 20€ more then mentioned in my E-reservation. He charged via my cradit card 100€ and 18€ extra in cash but in my E-reservation room with breakfast was total 99€ :-D After breakfast Turkisch receptionist was gone and I complained to jung German receptionist who took care od it in 3minutes. Turkey guy was too scamy polite and lied me my room was better than it should so therfore 20€ more but German lady later on corrected it sayin Turkisch guy did sth wrong. Take care
