It's an old fashion hotel, with an excellent location right in the middle of the city, everything is excellent, only good words
The location is very good, 5 min walking from the central train station.

the room has not a fridge and balcony and the "welcome - bottle of water should be free
It was the only hotel I saw in my life in West its toilets have internal water for cleaning it is something moslims suffering alot because of its absence. . So I should thank them for it
When it was hot room has no AC Very close to traffic so sleeping was not waw The staff are hardly smiling The level of cleanness was not that far and lighting was poor in passes
Big room Locatiom Overall quality
Good price, good location.
They didn't answer to my e-mails!!! The room is more like a 3-star.
location price/quality ratio
I heard construction works were going on during the day
This hotel is OK from all point of view. Not sure that it's real 4 stars but closely to it. Location is completely perfect - near the center and main railway station.
Only internal design of interior is strange. But maybe I haven't understood some design concept - how knows?)
The bed is to small am 1.80 m und my leg were ot of the bed
Everything staff very good. Rooms brill plenty of space. Free wi fi. Beautiful lounge and bar area large chairs to relax in while you enjoy drink
the home from home feel,warm,homely
First impresion of hotel was great because of interior of building, design of furniture, entrance and reception is realy excelent.
We came to hotel late evening after very long drive with 2 small children, we stayed next to reception and waiting when the receptionist (man) will finish his (privat) conversation on the phone...after complain another person help us to check in. That guy did'nt excuse about our waiting, probably we disturbed him. Next was the room - we booked 38m2, but when we entered it was sure that the room is much smaller. After complain we had to prove that the room is not what we booked. After all lady apologized and we have rwceived what we had booked 38 qm
Big and comfortable rooms. Very clean and nice.
Booked room with the bath, but get one with only shower
Nearby noise from bar
The hotel was really clean although the bed (which by the way was huge) was not that comfortable. It's centrally located although you don't have much to do other than strolling down the shopping streets. Close to the train station as well.
No curtains at all which was quite frustrating as I can't sleep in daylight. Also, plenty of light during the night thanks to the U-bahn incredibly shiny ads just across the road.
Location and staff were really good
would have scored higher if rooms had Air Con.
When we got there, we thought we are in the wrong hotel. Vintage furniture, aquariums, chandeliers and all the things to make you feel special. A big tub in the room, tv and free wifi. Downstairs is Pffeferkorn a great german cuisine restaurant you have to try. 5min to Alt Markt.
No air con, I could hardly sleep at night
Nice hotel with a few up market additions. Location good.
The hotel doesn't have any air conditioning. It really needs some. Cost of breakfast to high. At €9 a day it needs to be a lot less. Say €4-5. Noisy at night with the windows open. Lot of cars racing off the lights. Again if the hotel had air conditioning this wouldn't of been a problem.
The architecture of the building - it used to belong to Dortmunder Union brewery. Interior decor is amazing, it looks like an ironic take on Romanov kitsch. Reminded me of Ludwig II's Herrenchiemsee palace. The room was large and well soundproofed despite looking over a busy junction.
