Unter den Linden is a family friendly hotel in the quiet Grünhufe district of Stralsund. It features classically furnished rooms, a sauna and a massage parlor, within a restored country manor. The bright and spacious rooms at the Hotel Unter den Linden come equipped with modern furniture and satellite TV. Some rooms open out on to a private patio. Guests can try specialties from the Mecklenburg region, as well as hearty German favorites in the elegant hotel restaurant. In summer, meals and drinks are served on the terrace. Younger guests are welcome to use the kid's club. This includes a playground with slide and mini fortress, a large playroom and a library. There is a frequent family entertainment program with Happy the Clown. The price for a family of five was very good. The staff was friendly, although they were clueless at times. The staff was very confused when we were checking in as to how much we had to pay. She wanted us to pay an extra €60 (€20/child). She claimed that they weren't included in the booking at booking.com. We had booked rooms for four people and needed to pay an extra €20. This is what we did in the morning. The morning staff were friendly and competent. Our lightbulb in the bathroom needed to be replaced, but the staff wasn't able to do that. We were forced to always leave the door open in order to have a bit of light inside.

Vi har bott på Unter den Linden vid tre tidigare tillfällen och vi trivs där. Hotellet är lugnt och bekvämt, frånsett möjligen stolarna på rummen. Maten är god och prisvärd, personalen vänlig, men det var lite ödsligt I förra veckan (lågsäsong?). Men vi kommer gärna tillbaka vid ett annat tillfälle.

Auch wenn wir auf Durchreise nur eine Nacht mit meinen Eltern anläßlich ihrer Goldenen Hochzeit bei Ihnen zu Gast waren, so waren wir alle sehr zufrieden und haben uns bei Ihnen sehr wohl gefühlt. da am Abend unseres Aufenthalts eine Familienfeier stattfand gab es leider keine Möglichkeit abends noch ein Bier an der bar zu trinken. Also zogen wir uns ein Getränk aus dem Automaten und tranken es im Eingangsbereich.

A proximité d'une banlieue (100 mètres), ne surtout pas sortir de l'hôtel à pieds après 18 heures car ça craint, présences de dealeurs, d'alcooliques bref tout le charme d'une banlieue style "La Courneuve" !! On a craint pour la voiture

Wir reisten mit unseren älteren Kindern (10&17 Jahre) und fanden ein Zimmer mit Wickeltisch und Töpfchen vor..........das fanden wir irgendwie süss. Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr ruhig. Leider hat das Hotel keinen Aufzug, mit unseren schweren Koffern sehr mühsam. Das Appartement ist für 4 Personen zu klein, wir waren froh nur zwei Nächte so aufeinander gestapelt zu verbringen :-) Als Spannteppich-Feinde tun wir uns immer ein bisschen schwer wenn wir auf einen weiss-der-Geier-wie-alten Spannteppich treffen. Etwas unhygienisch.

Wir waren davon zwar nicht selbst betroffen, aus unserer Sicht ist das Hotel ideal für Familien mit kleinen Kindern, ohne dass ältere Gäste gestört werden. Guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in die Umgebung, ausreichend Parkmöglichkeit auf Hotelgrund. Für eine Besuch im Zentrum benötigt man das Auto.

Hotellet var meget familievenligt og var et godt sted at være hvis man havde meget små børn. Opredningen var ikke sådan at et voksent menneske kunne sove på den. Det var klart den dårligste opredning vi har mødt på forskellige hoteller.

“Hotels enjoy a nice location in the city centre, about 10-15 minute walk from the railway main station. Hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms in the mansard are very nice and allows a good view on the roofs of the city centre. Bed is very comfortable, linen and bad towels clean. Heating available in the evening.
