staff were great, owner likewise... all we very welcoming and the quality of the food was fantastic (were prepared to expect the worst when we realised that supper was a buffet but this fear was unfounded, top top place)

We chose to stay here because we were going to the Grand Prix. Our Sat Nav took us what felt like the back route to this Hotel and we thought we were in the middle of no where, until... this beautiful village location appeared and we were very impressed. It is so quaint,quiet (apart from the church bells but what a nice sound), beautiful and an absolute perfect stay.

There was nothing that I did not like, but you have to be aware that their evening buffet finishes at 8.00 p.m. (which is early for us) and they dont have much on offer in the way of evening meals. However, there is a steak/pizza/pasta restaurant down in the so called main town which is very basic but the food is spot on (close to the main church). We had a nice spag bowl and steak. Also the bathroom in our room was rather dated but it was clean and the water was lovely and hot!

Ben greeted us at the reception and our wonderful break began with welcome drinks. The staff could not do enough to make us all feel at home and relaxed. The rooms were immaculate and the atmosphere warm and cosy. The Chef who has experience of Thai cusine cooked us a special surprise dinner after discussing with us a selection of meat, fish or vegetarian dishes.Exceptional value for money. We will book another weekend here for sure and a friend who I have recommended should visit, has already booked to go for her Anniversary with her husband. The surrounding towns and villages have plenty to offer, good food, good wine and shopping. The countryside superb for walkers and people who wish to connect with nature. I am sure any one visiting this hotel will not be disappointed;.

Prijs/ kwaliteit was uitstekend.

Gordijnen kunnen wat beter , vooral als de zon zo vroeg schijnt.

de bedden, waren er jammer genoeg 2 tegen elkaar gezet maar lagen goed.

weinig personeel moesten steeds wachten, het saunagedeelte, er werd ons bij aanvang meegedeeld dat de whirlpool geen whirlpool meer was maar een normaal bad. Zeer gedateerde beschimmelde badkamer. Weinig toiletpapier. Vocht op kamer waardoor er steeds een muffe lucht aanwezig was.

Ligging

Wir hatten ein sehr schönes DZ im Hotel mit Blick auf die Mini Golf Anlage. Nach dem einchecken habe wir ein Begrüßungs Drink bekommen, und das sehr freundliche personal hat uns zum Zimmer gebracht. Aufzug ist vorhanden. Das Essen im Hotel ist hervorragend, abends Büffet und morgens das Frühstück Büffet lies keine Wünsche offen, reichlich und sehr schmackhaft. Wir waren nur von Samstag auf Sonntag im Hotel, aber auch wen es nur eine Nacht war wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und werden jedenfalls nochmal das Hotel buchen wen wir in Monschau sind.
