Short walk to train station so you can go anywhere easily. 20 minute walk to MarienPlatz. Very friendly staff. We were able to leave our luggage with them when we arrived (at 9am) and on the day we checked out. Staff all spoke English. Rooms small but clean and comfortable. It was hot in Munich the 2 days we were there so the room was quite warm. It would be nice to have a floor fan for when it is hot. The room we were in opened to the street so naturally there was traffic sounds. We slept with the windows open so the room cooled sometime around 1am a fan would have been helpful

The cleanliness of the room and quality of everyday cleaning were excellent. We chose this hotel because there are kitchen facilities in every room, it is situated in 5-10 minutes of walking from main railway station, main attractions, stops of tourist buses, central shopping area and big food supermarkets. It is good for elder travellers, young groups and families with children. Spacy soundproof rooms with long table for dining, some with balconies- very preferrable for smokers. Just an advice not to book breakfast with room/ It costs 10 Euros, but you can eat either in room or in city much cheaper.

Very spacious room with kitchen but there is a charge for cooking inside room. Convenient location: from railway station and city centre. Helpful staff. Self service washing machine available. There are washing machines operated by tokens. When we wanted to use, no tokens are available and all held by other guests. The staff do not know who hold the tokens and for how long. The hotel needs to manage these tokens better for other guests convenience.

The personnel at the reception desk was very helpful when we checked in and when we checked out. The location of the hotel seemed to be in a part of the city that might be considered intimidating to travelers.

The staff were extremely helpful, friendly and happy. The maisonette room seemed quite small for the price (although I gather Munich is the most expensive city in Germany!!). My parents had a superior room which was much better value.

The location near the main station. Coffee making facilities in room. Desk staff helpful and friendly. Bedding all clean and towels replaced when required. Carpet on floor. Price was good, and room was clean and neat. Grocery stores and cheaper eateries nearby. Area was safe to walk in. The Vi Vadi Hotel was as described on your website which was helpful for new travellers to Europe. We stayed for 4 nights and would book this hotel again in the future. The room did get stuffy and hot for such a mild summer and window had to be left open at times although a small fan was provided. Found later most hotels in Europe do not include airconditioning which we found a little off-putting for travel in the hotter months. The bathroom was rather small and more clothes hooks would help.

The Vi Vada is not especially attractive from its outward appearances. However, we found that its rooms, staff, location, and continental breakfast met our expectations. We used 2 rooms for 5 nights--one with a loft that is worth the upgrade. Very clean rooms and comfortable beds. Its proximity to the Hauptestanhoff and Marienstrasse were conveniences that more than made up for the lack of a classy decor on the outside or in the lobby. Breakfast was worth the the extra !0 Euro. Only one elevator makes on wonder what happens in a 7 story hotel when repairs are needed.

My room were spacious by European standards and very very clean. The staff at reception (particularly the lovely, exceptionally good mature age lady who greeted me and my travelling family of friends) were great to deal with, informative, helpful and so so friendly. Keep up the good work is such a beautiful city. We only wish we could have stayed longer.... we will be back and will certainly recommend the hotel to our friends.

We were very surprised that there is a coocking place in each room. Mineral water in the mini bar was most expensive of any other drinks - 4 EUR.

Location very good, rooms nice, clean and tidy, eventhough lift, corridors etc look a little shabby, nice breakfast, but going outside to get to breakfast room is not a very good decision, esp in winter time...Staff friendly and helpfull, English speaking.

Very close to Central Station. Approx. 10-minute walk to Marienplatz. Hotel staff is very friendly and help me a lot. Good breakfast at neighboring restaurant. Good value for money. Reception is not available around the clock. I had to leave by 7:30 am in Sunday morning to catch a flight, but the reception start working from 8:00 am only. It was not really their problem but I wanted to be informed in advance since the hotel was aware that I was to check out on Sunday.

Very close to the train station and a short walk to the city centre. Room was a decent size, wifi was good. We booked a kitchenette room which you could tell from the photos had a small hob. However if you wanted to actually cook anything you had to pay extra for pots and pans which should have been pointed out. There was a kettle but no toaster so it was a bit misleading - it should reallty have said it was tea and coffee making facilities. A nearby hotel was being renovated which meant noisy work started quite early in the morning.

The location is truly great - it is very close to the pedestrian city centre. The rooms are quire comfy - big enough and well furnished. It is nice to have a kitchenette in the room - you get a kettle, a fridge and plates and cups without extra charge (you need to pay 5 euros if you want some pans or pots, though). The reception staff are extremely friendly and helpful. It is quite convenient to have reception open till 10 pm. The location is quite central but in the evening the area looks seedy and not very nice to walk around. The halls are rather run down and the bathrooms have not been renovated for a long time, I think. They are nice and clean but look a bit old and worn. The wi-fi connection did not work well above the lobby floor (our room was on the 2nd floor). The selection of TV channels was rather odd - a lot of channels in Arabic, and some Chinese (I guess it means that a lot of Arabic - speaking people stay there, and quite a number of Chinese). Overall, it is good value for money, but I wouldn't stay there for a long time.

We booked Vi Vadi Hotel because there was a kitchen in the room and it was close to the train station, both very convinient things when travelling with a small baby. Plus there was a supermarket just around the corner. Room was modern decor, clean and spacious, except for the bathroom, which was tiny. Kitchen was super! Fridge, microwave, tableware for two, teekettle - everything very clean and new. We liked Vi Vadi very much, perfect for families. Breakfast at the restaurant next door wasn't too good. Small selection and a bit rude staff.
