Internet didn't work in the room or the lobby. My impression was that internet access was never available but was used a lure for travelers to stay in the hotel. Staff were not helpful in the least. Breakfast was so-so.

No WiFi in spite of declared service.

The bed.

Our room was small but bright and cozy and the windows opened onto our balcony for a wonderful view of the mountains, yet when closed it was soundproof. Across the street from the train station, short walk to historic sections of both towns, lots of excursions available to nearby castles and the Zugspitz Tours were frequent and inexpensive. And the breakfast was amazing. We liked the hotel so much we stayed a couple of extra days. Would definitely return here.

Excellent breakfast,wide range of foods,lovely sunny large room with mountain views. I selected it for proximity to railway station and buses. Very easy to find,lift is convenient

Foyer and restaurant could do with a little decor improvements. But this adds to its character

It's a quaint, old-fashioned hotel, could do with renovating, staff are friendly enough, breakfast is rich and plentiful, location is spot on - right next to the station

The restuarant is on the pricey side and they stop serving hot food at 9pm, when they serve cold cuts etc until 9.30pm. There is no leeway on this: I had to work until 9.30pm one night, but didn't matter. I was told in no uncertain terms that nothing was doing, had to go elsewhere. Little disappointing given I was there for four nights and paying several hundred euros.

Very clean, plus all the expected amenities. Very close to the train station but quiet at all times. Friendly staff. Overall a pleasant experience.

No wi-fi in the rooms. Cover/blanket in single bed extremely small, cannot cover one person. Restaurant closes early.

This is the second time I stayed. Very convenient because of the proximity to the railway station.

Just the location of the hotel. It is next to the main central railway station of Garmish and the rooms have a nice view over the mountains. There is a private parking behind the hotel.

Not very helpful hotel staff. The hotel staff is always busy with the restaurant because the Hotel works more as restaurant than a proper hotel. The temperature in the rooms is low and it is feeling cold. The staff didnt have any extra heating equipment and there was lack of blankets.Breakfast finishes at 9.30am on Sunday, and it was poor compared to the hotel reputation. We ve been very dissapointed of our stay.

Excellent location for those traveling with heavy bags - right by the train station. Good breakfast, reasonable rates, clean.

It was in an excellent location and was very nice for the money. The staff was very helpful and we had a very enjoyable time. I would stay there again!

the location was great , the room was clean and big , the breakfast was good and its place was wonderful . the staff were very helpful espically the lady with eye classes , she has high morality .the young lady in the dining room was very helpful . I would go there again every time i go to garmisch .

All staff members with whom we interacted were extremely friendly, courteous, professional, and helpful. The accommodations were very clean, quiet, and well maintained. The location was a short stroll from downtown area. Would definitely book again at this hotel!

Internet went down the evening before we left, and wasn't available in the morning. Working staff didn't have access to fix problem before our checkout time.

Centrally placed, nice big room, pleasant staff, ice available on every floor. Had a garage lock up available for our motorcycles for very small charge.
