Excellent view. Very friendly and helpful staff. Hotel is close to Castle, and is based in old town. Close to bus stop. All in all, a very nice stay. Even though room was non-smoking, room smelt like smoke. |

Very beautiful location, infront of the river, as well it is downtown area. Beautiful view through the window. Very good breakfast. Helpful staff. Car parking is extra charge, and need to be reserved in advance. No elevator to the 3rd floor. |

Location is very good. Eevrything in teh old town is close and easy to reach from this hotel. The view from the front rooms is also beautiful. Accessing it may be much simpler if they provide on the hotel homepage the address on the main street (in front of the hotel) instead of the one on Haspelgasse 2 which leads to the back of the hotel where there is only a one-way street so a big detour is needed in order to access the hotel. |

Clean hotel with a great location on the waterfront and in old town. Hotel could use some updating, no elevator, shower a bit small with low water pressure. |

The location is fantastic -- just adjacent to the "old Bridge" in Heidelberg and steps away from the old town, marketplatz, etc. The staff was helpful. We had gated parking. The buffet breakfast, included in the price, was fine and presented in a charming dining room. |

The breakfasts were fantastic, not too much but enough to get your day to a great start. Also, the staff was very friendly and helpful, and they all speak English. No. It was just the classic European place you want to stay. But, yes, the bed blankets were too small, but I guess that's how they do it in GE. |

The room we stayed in had a nice view of the Neckar River. The receptionist was also friendly and helpful. Creaky floors, no lift, average breakfast. |

the receptionist was very attentive and helpfull both on check-in and check-out. The location was good, allowing quick access to the restaurants and bars in the centre of town small gloomy entrance creates a poor first impression. |

Great location. Friendly staff. One of the few hotels to offer a room for 4. Strong cigarette smell. Limited breakfast, and not a "buffet" as claimed. Parking far away and hard to find. It took about 5 min to figure out how to turn the light on in the bathroom (switch high up on the side of the light). |

The hotel is right in the old city (Alt Stadt) and just a few blocks from the tram up to the Schloss. The price was low, and you got what you paid for. A clean room (with the problems listed below) in a great location. The bathroom is EXTREMELY small (a little over 1 meter wide). The shower tiles were painted over (hiding something?), with paint all over the shower handle. The pillows had practically no stuffing in them. The carpet had a large bleach stain. The TV was 12" (30 cm). The breakfast "buffet" is not a buffet. Parking was 6 blocks away. None of these would stop me from going again. |
