Good location, spacious rooms
Breakfast is only for appearances' sake and very poor, parking about 500m from the hotel (not a disaster but better to know), no elevator.
perfect storage for bikes and even a hose to clean off the mud.
Location, Quality for money
Stairs to room
Staff was very helpful in making transportation arrangements to FRA. Nice breakfast.
Am still frustrated with hotels that do not provide free WIFI for their guests. Room on river side, nice view but little too much street noise.
Helpful staff, excellent location in the old town within walking distance of all the old town highlights. Off site parking available but at an additional cost.
No lift. Poor variety and quality of breakfast foods for a vegetarian and special dietary needs not catered for even though a special request was made and acknowledged.
Good location and friendly staff
Rooms are adequate but need refurbishing, no shower just a tub with hose and no curtain. No free wifi. Breakfast was fair.
first time , have to say that everything.
stairs, but understandeble.
The staff was great. They helped us with everything we needed and we had a great breakfast every morning. They also had a parking garage for our cars. The location was fantastic. We walked to everything. The hotel was clean. I had a front room on the third floor which I recommend because I would leave my door open to get cross ventilation while I was in the room. The air off the river was cooler. I would recommend staying here if you don't need air conditioning.
There was no air conditioning but that is pretty common. In the morning the traffic was loud but at least we had a good breeze.
Location was fantastic, just off the main area .Secure parking but remote from hotel
Room was the scarcest I have ever been in, Bathroom cannot be any smaller. Breakfast very basic.
Great location for site seeing. Wonderful staff, terrific breakfast, easy to get to. Comfortable beds. Especially liked the location and the staff - which are two of the most important pieces for me in a hotel.
WiFi only worked on the ground floor. Had to keep the windows open at night to stay cool and we were next to a very loud outdoor bar area. Didn't quite down until after 2 AM. Not really a hotel problem, but would be worthwhile to ask for a room on the other side of the building.
The breakfast was great! The room was very nice and bathroom modern.
There's an old guy at the reception that can be very rude
It is a great place with real and nice people. Staff is very kind.
No facilities. (Gym sauna and etc)
good location, fantastic view next to the river/bridge
no lift, staff not so nice, one room at 1F not so clean (saw a spider at the bed), fan was broken
Clean and close to old town.
Noise from the street is a bit bothersome. The staff is not often available. There is no close parking for autos.
The hotel is right at the bridge and our room has a nice view of it and the bank across the river, where the Philosopher's Path is located. The main square and the cathedral are just one block away.
There is no elevator and lifting the luggage to the 4th floor is a little challenge.
Location - right on the river Breakfast was good
parking was 9 euros per day and was located about half a mile away no lifts - we were on top floor hotel is a bit tired and in need of some renovation
The staff were very friendly, helpful and welcoming. The hotel is very conveniently placed for the bars, with free motorcycle parking. The rooms are clean and have all you need.
Nothing. the staff do all they can to made your stay as good as possible.
The staff were friendly and helpful across the board. The room we stayed in (guesthouse block near the main hotel) was light, airy and large, with a great view of the Heiliggeistkirche.
1. Parking was at P12 public car park which had a large queue, but is the only car park which the hotel offers a discount on. It took an hour in total to check in, drive to this car park, queue to park and get back to the room. 2. The room is in an old building, poorly sound-proofed, and in the middle of the town, with bars surrounding it. We heard loud music and shouting/singing and so on until after 4am (stayed on Saturday night in August). Couldn't recommend it for anyone who didn't want to be out at least this late - very poor night's sleep
The location is near the old bridge in the old city and can't be beat. The staff was wonderfully helpful. We had a great view of the river.
The room had an older carpet but that is just a minor issue.
The location of the hotel is very good and the staffs are nice.
The park is about 10 minutes away from the hotel by walking, and a bit hard to find it
Location was great and the beds were very comfortable
It was a bit scruffy
Perfect location and very informative and patient staff made it an easy stay.
No fault of the hotel (as it's a medieval city) but parking is offsite and a 5min walk, which makes unloading big cases a pain. Plus, we were given a room in the annex apartments, where there is no lift, which us tricky if you have a pram or heavy cases. Also, the noisy drinkers walking in the alleyway below or shouting in the main square woke us up despite the windows firmly shut. Would stay again, but these are things to consider for the less physically able and elderly.
Location excellent, basic but suitable breakfast, friendly staff
Room smelling of smoke, no internet, dated room.
location in the old city of Heidelberg
skinny breakfast no free wifi (and it's 2014...) the carpet was horribly dirty
Fantastic location overlooking the river and only a few minutes walk from all the main attractions. Friendly, helpful staff and a good buffet breakfast. Would stay here again.
