Hotel am Viktualienmarkt  

Absolute value for money. Lovely room design. Very neat and clean. Various food and drinks at buffet breakfast (including boiled eggs, juices, fresh meat and bread). Prime location! 5 mins walk to Marienplatz, Isartor, Tal street, 1 min to Viktualenmarkt - place where you can buy Bavarian food specialities and many more (quick snacks, seafood cafe and takeaway, many decors and souvenirs). Cable internet in rooms free of charge , passwords and cable provided on reception, wifi available in the lobby (but it was also available in our room on the second floor). Extremely polite and helpful staff. Roomservice is very accurate. Pharmacy and bank with cash machines, taxi parking in a hand reach.

Bathroom is tiny but well equiped and very clean. Room doors are a bit to thin and you can hear people walking in the corridor. I did not see any air conditioning in the rooms and in summer it might be a little noisy to have windows open. If you want a quite stay request rooms overlooking the courtyard not the street. No Russian tv chanel. But I must say that these are minor issues, and I would recommend this hotel to my friends traveling to Munich.

Great location near the markets and a short walk to the main strip. Staff were very helpful with printing tickets for us and any queries we had. The room, whilst not luxurious, was comfortable and with enough room for 3 of us and all our bags.

Friendly and helpful staff. Varied and high quality breakfast. Right next to the brilliant outdoor food and drink market (Viktualien Markt). Would definitely stay there again if we visit Munchen / Munich.

Same niggle as with other European hotels that do not provide tea + coffee facilities in the rooms. But I think that is the European custom, and trivial.

No shower gel, body cream. When the soap was out it was not refilled till the end of our stay. Towels was not changed in time.

We enjoyed the very central but quiet location. The staff were attentive and helpful, the breakfast was always very good with excellent service. The hotel provided very good value for money and I will definitely return and recommend it to others.

The location and the staff. The hotel is located right near public transportation in the Marienplatz in the heart or Munich near the market. The staff was very friendly and helped us confirm our flights. The buffet breakfast was delicious. Our room was spotless and very modern. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

. Breakfast is very limited choices. Reception close 9pm and the hotel main door close. If the guest forgets his/her key he/she will have no way for entry . During my stay some gets had such problem when they called the emergency number on the main door they told them they have to wait until 6 am on the morning

Noisy street, no air conditioning, you can't sleep while the window is open from the motorbikes and cars noise,,, the rooms r pit small,, no wi fi in the rooms,,
