Location was ideal for walking to historic district, museums, sights, restaurants, etc. Staff helpful and kind

Unable to access internet in room. Had to do so from lobby.

The welcome and the goodbye – two different receptionists -one with glasses and yellow hair, the other called Myriam. Helpful night porter too. Great breakfast

    Location, breakfast.

No airco (at least, not in our standard room). At above +30C outside it was important.

Superb setting with outdoor dining options on the river bank, spacious room, and elegant decor. The underground secure garage was also important fo me.

Compared with many other hotels on my tour of Bavaria I thought the breakfast was overpriced at 30 Euro.

It seems to be the best hotel in Bamberg. Very professionally built and maintained, tasty breakfast and unbelievable location on the island between old town and park.

Nice big room, good brekfast, very good restorant in the hotel

the password for WI FI - only one for the room, we as a family have 3 gadgets so we needed to divide the time - not very good

    Underground parking

Breakfast not really up to the five star mark, with soft-boiled eggs hard like a rock. Dogs banned from the breakfast room, and although we were let in we felt tolerated, despite the fact that in the end we were charged for the dog presence.

Booked hotel in Bamberg for mother and myself (adult daughter).. The hotel is clean and when normal staff wasn't available to help with luggage - there are no elevators - front desk staff handled this responsibility. Location enabled us to walk around and explore Bamberg comfortably. Due to its location we cancelled a reservation in another hotel where we booked a suite, and I'm so sorry we did.

No elevators - this is an issue for those, like my mother, who have leg injuries no heat rm 121 - waited a requisite period for heat to come up - it didn't - we sat/slept in room with coats on until staff gave us new room that had heat. Moved to attic style room 220 to get heat (told it was the only available room) with no compensation - hotel staff took no responsibility for inconvenience or lesser quality room We left Bamberg and stayed in Nuremberg for a few days. Throughout our stay in Europe - over 4 countries - this was by far our worst experience in a hotel.

top location hotel restaurant where we had a very good dinner (rated by Michelin btw)

breakfast was very poor - although the choice was big, the quality of the food was really low which was quite a surprise compare to their hotel restaurant (but I guess they are saving money somewhere!?!). Plus asked for a lactose free milk and got a normal one!!!

The hotel is located quite in the central and easy to visit any tourist attractions on foot.

The breakfast could have been better considering the price of 15Eur.

I booked a regular single room but when I got there I was told they had booked the last one and offered an upgrade free of charge. It is centrally located within walking distance of the major historic buildings, shopping areas, great restaurants, and breweries. One thing I regret is not having elected to have breakfast there. When I was on my way to check out I saw what was on display and it looked amazing.
