A very welcoming atmosphere met us when we arrived. The room was comfortable, quiet and had a magnificent view over the river. Breakfast was excellent and the dinner meals rich and tasty. All members of the staff were very nice and helpful to us and we really enjoyed our stay in all respects. |

The exceptional friendlines of the staff, the charm of the building and the general welcoming ambience. The breakfast buffet was also excellent and the hotel's situation on the banks of the Moselle was absolutely delightful. |

Lovely staff. Very warm welcome by lovely front desk lady, Britta (sp?) . Quaint building. Must be able to climb stairs. Very good restaurant on the premises. They served us a great dinner with the wonderful local white wine out on the terrace at our request, as it was still warm enough for that. The Mosel river scenery is absolutely beautiful.. A little hard to find a parking place. Suggestion: Stop on the street out front, between the river and the hotel upon arrival, go to the desk and ask them to direct you to their own parking area in the back. |

Breakfast and Dinner ...excellant, could not fault it in any way. Mr and Mrs Melsheimer were always there to help as were the staff. Everyone was courtly and polite It was a pleasure to stay there. The room was always clean and the bed was so comfortable. There was always hot water in the shower. |

Charming and good 3-star hotel. Like usual, given high German standards - in reality certainly 3,5+ stars. Nice villa's directly located at the Mosel river, with nice swimming opportunity in the summer (which was needed with the very warm summer). Nice rooms and bathroom. Very friendly hotel owner. Good food in restaurant. Excellent wine tasting (and buying) located adjacent to the hotel. More than beautiful environment and nicely quiet town of Reil. Excellent in terms of quality-price. In summer, rooms really need airconditioning. Approx. 35 degrees C, so hard to sleep because of the warmth. Or at least somethong to protect open windows from insects going inside. Now we had hunderds of littke moths in the room after having the windows open one evening during dinner. So something could be done about room temperature in summer. Bathroom toillet had a bit of a urine smell that persisted the whole week; not very nice. Room was clean properly, but didn't get any new soap/shampoo/showergel the whole week, very strange for a hotel. |

Hospitality of the staff and their ability to speak very good English, nice and peaceful location of the hotel facing Mosel River, perfect cleanness of the room. Modern and tasteful design of our studio was even a bit of a good surprise. The restaurant was working until 9pm only, so we had to go to another one down the road. We did not manage to find any TV channel even though the TV set seemed to work properly... |

The staff were very friendly and the service was great. Our room faced the Moselle and was roomy and comfortable. The bathroom was large and modern. The breakfast buffet was very good indeed with short order chef on duty. The restaurant was also excellent with great value for money. |

The staff there, especially the manager, were extremely friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and the beds were comfortable. The tiramisu was excellent as well. The food was a little pricey so we decided to eat at a resturant down the street. We did decide to have desert at this hotel because they looked tasty. |

Unfortunately, my motorbike broke down whilst on route to the hotel. On my arrival, the staff were friendly and started trying to arrange a local mechanic to assist me. Despite the Hotel being busy the staff took time out to help and re assure me. I cannot praise the hotel and its staff highly enough. The hotel itself was clean, well presented and the food was fantastic. Thank you. |

Wonderful villa/hotel! Family run with super friendly and helpful staff. Owners speak perfect English and are more than willing to help. Breakfast room is beautiful and breakfast is amazing (with freshly made omelettes) Dinner at the hotel was fabulous! We stayed in a villa room which was gorgeous and the hotel has many outdoor patios (one with a nice fish pond). |
