Staff a bit grumpy Parking fee of 7,50€ when you can park free in the street, there is no sign that it is paid parking, it is in the small print of the reservation. That was the only minus, rest was really positive.

The Hotel is in walking distance from the beautiful town of Meersburg. It has a beautiful view over lake Constance. The rooms were very nice and all in white and very clean. The breakfast was good and the variety good too. The staff were very pleasant and the owners too. Also found it to be a bit pricy for what you are getting, compared to many of the other places we have stayed in.

I could not understand that they do not have bar fridges in the rooms. Often we wanted to keep some cold water in the room or a snack as the hotel restaurant is not open at night. They do have an honesty bar which is well stocked down stairs, but sometimes you want to have something different and we found that to be a problem. The other thing is, that one cannot make a cup of tea or coffee after walking back from dinner in the town. There is no way of doing this as the place is shut down in the evenings.

The grounds and common areas were beautiful. Breakfast buffet and setting very nice. Garage parking on premises with reservation. Elevator. Nice outdoor seating area. Meersburg great place to stay. Loved waterfront and town area - many restaurants, great views. Took ferry over to Konstanz and visited both island communities over there. Very enjoyable.

Room was small, bathroom very small. Shower was tight and only had a wrap around shower curtain, which tended to cling to your body, for shower enclosure. For privacy in room at night had to lower the outside metal window coverings which greatly restricted airflow - too warm. Was very difficult to see lake in our "lake view" room because of vineyard and netting over plants which were outside room. If want a lake view be sure to get a room on one of the top two floors. 15 min or so walk into town - steep uphill walk back from town. Do not recommend for non-German speaking visitors as owners made little attempt to communicate in English - only place we found this in our month long travels of Germany. Thought attitude there was a bit "stuffy". With as many lodging choices as there are in Meersburg, this would not be our choice next visit.

The breakfast is incredible! Stunning view of lake & Meersburg church towers. Lovely garden. Comfortable rooms. Delightful walk to old village with numerous shops & restaurants. We will stay there again. Quiet neighborhood.

We loved the hotel. From the terrace there is a beautiful view of the lake and it is secluded from the bustle of the old town. However a 5 min walk downhill (a little longer coming back!) gets you to the heart of the old town. The interior design is modern and tasteful. There is a huge selection for breakfast and everyone is very welcoming. I thoroughly recommend it.

Very pleasant ambience and agreeable staff. Location is good, set in a relaxing smallish garden, overlooking Lake Constance. A 5 minute brisk walk to the lovely village.

The reception area is delightful, as it merges into the dining area which is stunningly 'cool' - I never realised just how colourful white could be- there are fully 40 shades of white/cream, with chrome spot lights here in the table settings. The windows frame views of the picturesque lake and the glorious garden flowers. But there can be a downside to this, on wet days-thankfully only one during our stay- there was really no where to sit except at those same rather precious dining tables (the diminutive sofa was occupied by one other guest).

The view of Bodensee from our balcony, in the sunshine, was priceless - we sat there for hours. Very quite neighbourhood away from the hustle and bustle of the main centre, but easy to walk there for supper.

Climb up from the lake fairly steep so need to take it easy.

One of the marvelest hotels i've ever stayed in. Every thing in this hotel is a lovely story, starting from the staff especially the old lady, she was wonderful lady :), even the rooms, services, and the lovely breakfast, and never forget the free afternoon tea with the cake they do. What a wonderful hotel.

Ther is no aircon at the hotel, but it wasnt a problem during our visit time!

We loved everything about this hotel. Location, attention to detail, afternoon tea, massage therapist on site, honor-bar for beverages, fabulous decor that is well-kept, modern amenities, and run by a charming and attentive staff (family-owned). The gardens are beautiful, and it's an easy walk down to the walled city of Meersburg. It's a romantic gem that won't disappoint!
