it is really a good hotel, u can enjoy the breakfast and the hotel will offer u a card to catch the bus to be schloss tour area for free!
we really enjoy the great service and specially de sauna and the incredible breakfast
The bed was too hard
+ The quiet location and large grounds which my dogs loved to run around on + 12 minute walk to the center of Fussen + Breakfast was excellent with the usual continental choices, as well as hot scrambled eggs and sausages + Very friendly staff + Pet Friendly (we brought our three, large-size dogs) + WiFi was good enough in the room, but not very fast.
- Pet fee is higher than necessary (7 Euro/pet/day). - Check out is at 10 a.m. (I asked if we could have until 11, but was given until 10:30 instead) - Showers are awkward with the placement of the shower head, half-glass door, spout and drain all seemingly in the wrong place
check out time was 10 am.
Simple rural-style rooms
Nice building, big parking place, beautiful park around, good breakfast and polite and helpful staff.
The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is a partner of King's card, which seems to provide free public transport in the area and entrance to a couple museums during the period of stay. Big garden.
The check-in time is 10.30pm at latest and check-out time is 10.00am. Due to the delay of train, we almost didn't make there in time. Also, 10am for check-out is a bit early. The ceiling over the bathtube in our room is low with an angle. I am not a tall person so if I find it low, it's really low.
Beautiful building and grounds. Spectacular views. A quick walk into town. Staff were helpful and friendly. Everything was prefect!
There is so much that is good about this hotel. The decor is lovely, the location good & the staff welcoming. However we would never risk staying here again in case we ended up with a room backing onto the lift. The hotel acknowledges that the lift is a huge problem & turns the elevator off between 21.00-8.00. The rooms that back onto the lift like ours did are rendered unusable during the day because of the horrendous noise coming from the lift. We complained to the receptionist who shrugged and said that it was 'an old building'. But while they are justly proud of their 2012 refit it's a real shame they didn't spend some money on trying to fix / quieten the lift. I realize that the housekeeping staff need to work - thank you Frau Receptionist for pointing this out - but I don't want to be forced from my bed at 8am on what is supposed to be a relaxing holiday because of the noise. And on new year's day it was a real shame we were unable to enjoy an afternoon nap, again, because of the noise. These rooms should be discounted because I object to paying the same price as someone 2 doors down who will have enjoyed an entirely different experience. At 120EUR per night this was absolutely not good value. And the 5EUR discount offered by the frankly disinterested receptionist was rather insulting.
There are many lovely hotels in Fussen and nearby Schwangau. We shall certainly be returning to Fussen, but will not be returning to this hotel.
The room I had (210) was really quiet. The Sauna-area was small, but tastefully furnished. Good location - close to town, but away from the hustle. Good as a base for various winter sports if you don't mind driving - there's cross country skiing in Schwangau, skking at Tegelberg and the Tannheimer Tal which offers both is not too far away. And the sauna is perfect after a day out in the snow.
The room was under the roof and fairly dark - BUT I was offered to change rooms after one night when another one was free.
Amazing hotel with amazing friendly staff, and with a rich breakfast. If this is your range of prices for Füssen, just pick Villa Toscana! they even give you the Königscard and you can even go to Austria with this! and also, rent a bike and travel around the city, it's an amazing experience
The house is very nice, surrounded by a lawn and garden, big parking space, comfy bed, very nice self-seving breakfast, internet works.

Helpful staff. Location and woods surrounding the villa. Heating system and water quality ore OK.
Rooms are too small. No bycle service (too old not in good shape). Limited no of rooms with balcony. They did not put clean glasses when they make the room up.
Spacious rooms. Good breakfast. Easy free parking
Location, room view, fabulous included breakfast
Having to leave
Quiet room with mountain view, great breakfast, nice garden, helpful staff
Great staff! Excellent breakfast! No restaurant but they served beer or wine all night and recommended good places for dinner.
The view from the room was spectacular. The staff was great. Breakfast was delicious.
Grounds, views are lovely. Best shower and tub of our trip so far. Very cool patio off our room and a wonderful breakfast patio, too. Only regret is that we didn't arrive sooner in the day of our initial reservation.
Other guests were a bit loud, which may or may not be the norm.
