Vital Hotel Wiedemann    

- We booked a family room for 4 and got 2 separate bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. - Rooms were spacious and very clean, good shower & bathrooms - Hotel had a very relaxing atmosphere, quiet surrounding - Beautiful German style country deco dining room, good breakfast

- A little further away from town centre, around 20 mins walk. - A bit hard to find with small narrow streets leading to hotel, we thought some of the streets were not accessible by car.

If breakfast can be arranged earlier than 07:00 am for some early bird it would be more perfect

Nice family room with a large terrace overlooking the mountains, delicious food, nice sauna

No wellness services apart from sauna due to national holiday of 1st of November, there is no entertainment for kids at all (e.g. playing room, kids wellness or at least some color pencils and drawing in the restaurant)

We had the biggest balcon, I guess. Very good view, direct facing the mountain and sunshine.

Kind bed, which is a sofa actually, is too small for 2 five years old boys. We just have one little boy and feel just about right for him to sleep on.

Staff was extremely friendly, room was very cozy, and surrounding area is awesome.

Not so much did not like, but a little difficult to find if you are not familiar with the area.

The silence

The small room on the 4 floor - they are too small the room of my friend on the 2 floor smelled tobacco - in non smocking hotel.

Lovely breakfast in a pretty breakfast room. Located in a quiet serene spot.

The location was nice

The staff was not hospitable and not well-wishing - we ask them to have a breakfest on winter-garden (it is a part of terrase), and we receive refuse, thouse there was free - only one table was bisy. They told that it is only for people who staying 2 week and more... And in addition, they tryed to take a price for breakfest for 4 people - thouse only 2 people staying in the room (and we writing about it when we booked the room)

It served my purpose

Rooms were very comfortable and in a very quiet, nature surrounded setting, a short walk from the busy town. Also had dining room, food available for three meals (this was not mentioned on website, as they don't want to attract non-guests). Owned by same family for 100 years and they were very responsive and helpful to all our requests.

It was a little hard to find, once through the town of Fussan. It's in a neighborhood with tiny streets. We ended up on what looked like a road but was actually just a paved trail for walking (signs not easily seen or recognized by American travelers). Luckily able to back up without further mishap! Suggest map or specific directions when hotel confirms the reservation.

The hotel has character, is quiet and yet conveniently located close to the old town; within 10 minutes walking distance. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Pity the room has no wifi access.

Great place, walking distance to town and 10-20 to both famous castles, friendly and helpful staff, cosy atmosphere, good breakfasts (not continental).

Friendly, (and English speaking!) at the front desk. We had a wonderful waiter for dinner and breakfast as well.

The staff were very friendly and we were allocated our own table in the restaurant for the duration of our stay, which was nice. The breakfast buffet was lovely and our room had a good sized-balcony.

There is wireless internet in the hotel for free, but the signal only really works reliably on the ground floor, in the areas closest to the reception. It would be a big plus if the wireless worked properly in all the rooms.

A nice comfortable hotel within walking distance of the town center.

It was in a nice green location just a short river walk to town. Staff were very friendly and spoke excellent English. The food was very good and cheerfully served. There was a balcony to our room which was very pleasant to sit out on.

It was nicely appointed and clean. We had a lovely balcony. The staff was friendly and helpful. The included breakfast was good; each room/family had a reserved table. The location was charmingly tucked into a back corner of Fussen, easily accessible with a car but, a bit out of the way if on foot. The nearby town had lots of restaurants, shopping, hiking, and within driving distance of castles.

The decor was a bit dated. Regarding breakfast, I wish I had known that I needed to reserve a table on the terrace because it appeared that once you were assigned a table, there wasn't any flexibility.

The hotel staff were friendly and helpful, our room as very nice and we enjoyed having a balcony to sit on to enjoy the country setting and listen to birds. The Spa was lovely to have on premise and the restaurant was also very nice.
