this hotel is located in a residential area, blissfully quiet and peaceful at night, beautiful restaurant, good breakfast, great food choice. Lovely view over the vineyards from the restaurant. It is a 1km/10 minute walk to talk but a very easy walk. Rooms are spotlessly clean, my only complaint was that bed was too soft, not good for my bad back.

The hotel was nice and clean and the breakfast was good. We had a room with a jacuzzi but unfortunately no view over the Mosel as indicated in the pictures. The staff was very friendly. The hotel is not located in the city centre of Bernkastel; it takes about half an hour by foot to get there. Compared to other hotels in the region, I think the price is too high for what you get. When we arrived at the hotel, we were looking forward to having dinner in the steak restaurant that evening but they told us when we entered our room that the restaurant was fully booked that day and closed the day after. This was a bummer since we were really looking forward to it. Advise for future guests: make reservations if you want to have dinner in the hotel's restaurant.

This hotel is superb!!!!! We are compelled to write at length as the hotel is extremely worthy of a substantial praise. We are an Irish couple and this was our very first time travelling to Germany. We wanted to have a peaceful, restful, romantic weekend and also experience the Christmas Markets. We are absolutely delighted we visited Bernkastel- Kues, it is a very magical, special, characteristic, romantic and friendly place. We flew into Frankfurt Hahn airport and travelled the 25 minute journey to Christiana's WeinArtHotel by taxi. We are of the view that a hotel you select for a short break can often make or break your weekend away. Our stay in this hotel has been one we will cherish for some time, and we will definately revisit again. It was the most comfortable, relaxing and romantic hotel stay we have ever experienced. On arrival, we received a very personable, warm, friendly and helpful welcome from Christiana herself (she took the time and effort to walk us to our room and give us all the hotel information we needed regarding meal-times etc (from the very onset we felt our business was very much appreciated, and as guests we were made to feel very meaningful to the owners). We booked the 'Wellness' Room. It was absolutely wonderfully comfortable, warm/cosy, spotlessly clean, modern and the large Jacuzzi near the bed was so relaxing and enjoyable. The ensuite facilities were also modern and luxurious. On the first night of our stay we had dinner in the Steak House Restaurant at the hotel. Diana the waitress was so professional, attentive, courteous, friendly and catered to our every need. She also spoke very good english and presented us with english menus. There is a varied menu, something to cater for everyone's taste. The food was absolutely superb - sumptuous, very nicely presented, so fresh and tasty and cooked to perfection. The courses arrived very timely, the restaurant ambience was magnificent.

The staff was very knowledgeable of the area and was quick to answer my questions and concerns. They accomodated us with a nice fireplace and firewood in our room daily. They even helped us get our child out of a locked bathroom on day one of our arrival. We had a great experience at the hotel and we were quite pleased with the breakfast. To our surprise we had free Wi-Fi which was an added feature so we were able to see the surrounding areas. We will definitely return to this hotel next year.

First the hotel staff was not eager to provide wood for the fireplace in the suite, despite that was requested in the original booking. The argumentation was that if the fireplace was used, the room would be smelling for the next guests to arrive. Since availability of the fireplace was the main reason why we chose this hotel, we insisted, and then had the fireplace nicely prepared, and could enjoy our stay as planned. Otherwise the hotel is very convinient and breakfast was great. If coming for wine tasting to this region (which we this time were not) there are wines from 17 estates available for tasting and buying in the hotel. So, if too lazy to go around to wineries, can do all of that not leaving the hotel. Owners should not list fireplace as available facilities, if are reluctant to let guests to use it. Or brief their staff, that it actually is ok.

Our room was perfect. Stylish and a good size. It was immaculate. The balcony off the room was a very good size for 2 people. Breakfast was hearty and fresh. The staff were always available to help with holiday plans. Wine theme was fun and unique. A very good place to stay to explore the Mosel Valley. Easy parking onsite. The toiletries in the bathroom were very small and not replenished each day. We had to ask for extra on the second day of our stay and then no more was supplied on the 3rd day even though the little bottles were empty.

From the moment we arrived everything was perfect. Beautiful room, clean and modern. Comfortable bed. The included breakfast was plentiful, fresh, and delicious. But the staff was the real stand out. On our first night, we had some trouble connecting our new iPad to the hotel wifi. We had three staff members happily offering their assistance to work out the problem which was quickly solved. Christiana, the owner-operator was pleasant and extremely helpful in every way. Highly recommended.

We stayed 3 nights in this lovely hotel, and hated to leave! Outstanding value for the money - the rooms are beautiful and spacious. The owners were welcoming and helpful. Their restaurant was excellent, so we dined there every evening. Breakfast was also very good. We would absolutely stay again and have already recommended this hotels to others. Best hotel of our trip!

Really nice room but no lift and if you're older and infirmed it's not easy staying on top floors. Restaurant was excellent for dinner and breakfast was good. A bit off the city route but walking to main town is acceptable even for older folks. Free parking. No lift. Very difficult unless traveling light or younger.

Really nice rooms, comfortable & clean. Big walk in shower and stylish bathroom. Good breakfast in light airy dining room. Very nice staff. 15-20 mins walk to centre of town, - The location is not a criticism of the hotel itself, but something to be aware of. Restaurant closed on Monday nights which we weren't told about. After a long day we didn't fancy the walk to town and back, so had to rely on snacks from the supermarket next door.

The WeinArtHotel appears to have recently undergone an almost total update to all its rooms, with the result that they are now very modern and beautifully equipped. The owners and their staff are friendly and accommodating - making fresh scrambled egges on demand for the lovely breakfast. The dinners are excellent and there is a magnificent wine list. Half the rooms overlook a quiet street and the other half overlook the busy L47 road into Bernkastel, although these rooms have lovely views of the River Moselle and the whole Moselle Valley. Recommend you decide what you want and ask when booking. Observations: the internet is fully accessible but only by cable (loaned to you from Reception) so wireless-only devices will not be able to reach the web. Secondly, the hotel is quite a long way out of the centre of Bernkastel (1.2km). However, there are buses on the main road and if you consult Google Earth, you will see that there is footpath down past the local schools down to the riverside and it is then a lovely walk along the river into town. Why go out in the evening - the restaurant at the hotel is SO good. Restaurant is closed on Monday nights. Also, there is no lift to the upper floors (where all bedrooms appear to be located), so travellers with mobility problems may not find this hotel so convenient. Overall: Highly recommended but remember the observations made here. Although the entire hotel accommodation seems to have been through a recent modernisation, they are still using some quite old towels which don't quite match up to the rest of the decor.

A splendid place with good taste of interior design, furniture and exterior design. Spacious rooms with nice balconies, flat screen TVs and very tastefully decorated. The entire hotel embodies a flaire of contemporary art and design. The food fulfills all expectations. Good location just outside the town center with calmness close to the Mosel river. Easy to park our cars at the location. The only thing to send complaints about is the fact that the parking area is covered with iron nails & screws and wires of steel making it risky to park there without getting flat tyres. A good initiative would be if the owners could clean the parking area from such garbage immediately.

Value for money. Vi kommer 100 % igen.
