Hotel Wahlenau

It was not possible to cook because the stove is broken so the owner prepared our dinner.

The owners were very friendly and helpful. The place was comfortable, clean and cosy. Our flight was very early in the morning and they gave us a lift which made things so much easier! Great experience!

Very close to Frankfurt Hahn airport. Nice staff. Clean rooms.

Owners offer transfer from and to airport for 5 Euro comparing 15 Euro for taxi transfer. Excellent choice if you need just sleep between flights from Hahn.

Shared WC and toilet

Beautiful countryside, very peaceful, friendly people.

Friendly welcome from Ingrid, not too sure why it's called a hotel, just the bottom floor of a house. Nice to have a garden and lounge to yourself. Very quiet and only a few mins drive back to Hahn airport.

Hospitality of the staffs.

Very pleasant staff. Very clean and comfortable rooms. Beatiful landscape.

Nearest shop is about 4 km from the hotel. There are no enterntainments. 1-2 days is ok, but I can not imagine to live there longer. =)

The time spent at hotel wahlenau felt like I was home, The vacation was relaxing and Staff of the hotel was friendly and hospitable.

Wir haben auf dem Weg nach Gran Canaria im Hotel Wahlenau übernachtet. Die Betreiber des Hotels waren sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Sie bieten einen sehr guten familiären Service. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Hele bovenverdieping beschikbaar. Aparte kamers (huiskamer, badkamer, slaapkamer en keuken). Alles was netjes en verzorgd.

Geen internet (Wifi)

Stayed for one night between flights in Haus Idarblick. Quiet and cosy country house with a beautiful view and great attention to smallest details. Owner came to pick us up in just a 5 minutes after we landed (transfer from and to airport costs only 5 euros). 'Good night' drink was a pleasant surprise. It's possible to order breakfast - which was really good. There was a small fridge with a mini-bar so we had a chance to enjoy German beer as well without leaving a house.

Als het overal zo goed verzorgd was ging ik nog vaker op vakantie.

Выбрали этот отель, потому что находится недалеко от аэропорта для ночлега, чтоб утром уже отправится на машине дальше. Очень красивая природа вокруг, все в цветах и зелени. А такого радушного приема хозяев отеля даже не ожидали, милые и приветливые люди. На обратной дороге остановимся там же.

La ubicación es ideal cuando haces escala en Francfurt Hahn. Aunque es necesario coche para llegar a el. Las instalaciones están limpias y la relación calidad precio, es buena.

En la reserva ponía que la habitación tenia baño privado, y a la hora de la verdad, no era cierto. Aunque es cierto que la habitación era amplia y que no había nadie durmiendo en la misma planta ese dia...

Schone bedden

Er was niets om iets op te warmen. Geen magnetron en de kookplaat met oven deed het niet. Wij hadden een appartement. Roken was er verboden, ik had wel een kamer geboekt voor rokers.

L'odeur de friture persistante du soir, de la nuit et encore tôt le matin ... dans la maison (un peu moins dans la chambre)

Nice and quiet location. The room was ok and cousy with walls and ceiling timbered.

In Booking says it´s an Hotel but actually it is a group of different houses from a small village, that rent a guest room (I think Booking´s information isnt correct). When you book you dont know really know the room you are going to get. The presented photos refer to different homes. You should get in contact to the so called "Hotel" in order to clarify this issue. We stayed in an attic into converted into a bedroom. Despite being exclusive to the room, the bathroom isnt inside the room, and because of that we think our privacy got compromised.

Ha estado genial. La pareja que lo regenta muy agradable y servicial. Todo muy limpio y cercano al aeropuerto. El desayuno muy bueno y el baño muy grande.
