The hotel is lovely, very clean and the staff were great. The room was spacious and clean and a very comfy bed. We ate there and the food was good, buffet style so something there for everyone and breakfast was one of the best with lots of choice and variety. After a long ride there on a motorbike it was the perfect hotel.

The family-run, 3-star superior Hotel Waldachtal is located in the heart of the Northern Black Forest Nature Park, 9.3 mi from the historic town of Freudenstadt. The hotel is an AdultsOnly hotel, spread over the houses "Waldachtal" and "Himmelreich", which are a maximum of 2-3 minutes walk from each other on foot. All rooms are equipped with a flat-screen TV, a desk and a private bathroom. The comfort rooms are additionally equipped with a fridge and safe. In the spacious superior rooms with a comfortable seating area, you will also find a filled mini-bar on arrival and a kettle with coffee and tea making facilities. Free WiFi is available in all areas. All rooms have a balcony or terrace, some with a view over the village. A varied breakfast buffet with regional products and hot dishes is offered daily. In the evening, regional menus or buffets with a selection of seasonal dishes are served in one of the hotel's restaurants. Self-service tea and coffee are available free of charge in the various guest lounges. Other free amenities include parking (subject to availability). A wellness offer rounds off the stay – a swimming pool, whirlpool, brine mist, several saunas, relaxation room, rental wellness bags as well as massages and beauty treatments (which must be booked before arrival for a fee) are located in the house “Himmelreich” (no covered passage). In the main building “Waldachtal”, guests have access to a fitness area and another sauna. The reception for all houses is located in the main building “Waldachtal”.
