The Waldhorn hotel is quietly but centrally located on the outskirts of the city Kempten, providing cosy guestrooms, a variable separable festive hall for up to 100 persons for all kinds of celebrations, meetings, conferences or lectures.
There are about 90 parking lots, car-parks for buses and an underground parking in front of the hotel.

Hiking trails and cross runs skirt directly at the hotel and offer manifold options to enjoy the Allgaeu and foothills of the Alps.

Immerse yourself with all senses and enjoy the heat and aroma scents. By the way the vitality sauna oasis can also be used if you are not a guest of our house

Food & beverage

Our kitchen offers you a variety of local dishes based on the Allgäuer and Bavarian kitchen. The menu changes daily and offers seasonal specialities. We mainly buy local products which meet our quality requirements. In summertime our sunny terrace invites you to relax and enjoy the sun. On cooler days you may also make yourself comfortable in our winter garden.

Room information

The hotel provides 70 modern and cosily furnished single and double rooms. (22 of them are located in the guesthouse with 4-stars comfort). All rooms are equipped with a range of modern amenities.

Area information

Kempten is the oldest town in Germany and the cultural and commercial centre of the Allgaeu.
Many sights such as the Basilika St. Lorenz, the Residenz, excavations in the Cambodunum-Park, the Old Town of Kempten and museums are worth a visit.

Directly in front of the hotel you can enjoy the wonderful landscape of the Allgaeu with its endless variety of experiences. Due to the central location of Kempten, the well-known holiday centres are easy to reach. Visit Fuessen with the royal palaces, Oberstdorf with the impressive mountains or the lake Bodensee with Lindau city and Mainau - island of the flowers.

einfach alles - ich hätte noch einen Tag länger bleiben sollen.

Ruhige Lage, schöne Aussicht, gute Küche

Keinerlei Information über Hotel und Stadt, keine Minibar,nur Preisliste, keine Seife! zu wenig Kaffee zum Frühstück! Leitungswasser zum Mineralwasserpreis statt, wie früher auch in Bayern üblich, immer zu Espresso oder Kaffee!

Sauberes Zimmer, gutes Essen und freundliche Mitarbeiter.

Etwas zuviel Larm (ein Fest mit ein Band). Die Vorhange machten das Zimmer nicht dunkel genug.
