In the "blauen Ente" (blue duck), the non-smoking restaurant in Waldhotel Schäferberg, you can discover cuisine which is down-to-earth yet creative and modern. All dishes are prepared from fresh ingredients from the region. Some ingredients, such as numerous garden herbs, we even harvest ourselves. Enjoy the combination of tradition and fine living.
"Unsere grüne Soße" (our green sauce, a local speciality), just like the various duck dishes, exemplifies our traditional cuisine with a modern lightness.
All our rooms are nicely decorated and equipped with a bathroom, hairdryer, mini bar, satellite-tv, radio and telephone. In all rooms you can use our wifi-internet connection.
On request we offer non-smoking rooms and pillows for allergic people.
In the area of Kassel you will find nature, arts and culture in a romantic setting.

Staff is friendly and helpfull, area is nice, though direct surroundings are roads..... Looked like a place in the middle of forest so walking from the hotel in the woods... but it's next to a busy road. The food is not what one would expect from such a busy place. |

Gefallen hat insbesondere die Freundlichkeit der MitarbeiterInnen, das sehr gut Frühstücks- und Abendbuffet. Nicht gefallen hat die zeitaufwendige Suche nach einem freien Parkplatz und die einfachen Zimmerschlösser. |
