I was travelling with my 7 yr old daughter and she thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor play equipment. It entertained her while I enjoyed a lovely meal at their restaurant.

Breakfast and the Evening meal

Using the Internet was very difficult. If a common password was given at the beginning of checkin that would have been easier.

hotel waldman located in the small village close to the castle and fussen town centre. It took only 5mins drive to the castle. The rooms are spacios and clean. The bed is comfortable, the staffs are very friendly and the breakfast is good. Free parking and free wifi. The triple room we are staying has a balcony which we can see the beautiful castle and the mountains. Lovely views! Will book this hotel in the future.

Family run so found them very friendly and helpful! We had a great stay and very close to the castles and other attractions. Would recommend highly.

This family-owned property is well-cared for by lovely, warm people. The view from the castle room was magnificent, and the hotel was conveniently located.

We liked everything! Maybe the room itself could have used a little updating, but it gave you a homey feel.

A traditional guest house with comfortable rooms and bathroom in excellent location for visiting royal castles. The owners are welcoming and offer advice on places of interest in the area. Wholesome breakfast and good dinner in the hotel restaurant.

Super friendly staff, fantastic service, beautiful location right in the foothills of the Alps, and super close to Schwangau , Ludwig II's castles, and a few lakes. Food was simple but authentic and delicious.

Fairly thin walls and floor. Could hear people stomping around above us and people chatting next door.

Lovely place! Very close to the castles and mountains... lovely, smiley staff. Loved the originality! They have a great breakfast and very comfy bed - also a lovely shower!

Restaurant wasn't open the night we stayed

Hotel Waldmann offered a very friendly, homey atmosphere. Our room had a great view of the castle and we enjoyed our stay. Would definitely recommend this to our friends.

I liked Everything!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Amasing hotel, amasing people, the restaurant is just excellent (the fish was wonderful!!!) It was just pleasure to come back to the hotel after mountain climbing!!! just as at home!!! Thanks to the Family Waldmann for my perfect vacation, hope to stay there for my next trip to Allgäu!!!

Very close to the 2 castles. Not a bad price. Rooms were very clean and cleaned well the days we were there.

Loved the excellent services and the kind and helpful staff, really recommend. As hotel was leaded by a family, you could see everybody worked on it to have a nice staying. They were helpful, interested in us and our needs. Tasty breakfast and a la carte menu. Two nights-but two times cleaned room during the day when we were away.

Our room was nice, but for us really cold-they told us to turn on the heating when we arrived, and as we were there for two nights, we left it turned on for the day, when we were out of the hotel visiting the castles. As we arrived in the evening from our one-day-trip, the heating was turned off by the staff during the day, so we found our room cold again and it took a pretty long time to feel comfortable. Maybe should told them not to turn it off through the day.
