Good value for money. Functional and clean rooms. Friendly staff. Quiet neighborhood

"freaky" decoration of corridors and rooms. Not very close to downtown, though well conected by fast and frequent trains

This is an excellent hotel at the price. Parking is available on street around the hotel and evening meals are available in the attached restaurant - for a price. The hotel is non-smoking

Glass doors in the en-suite! The smell of cigarette smoke in reception.

Unintrusive service. Quiet & safe neighbourhood. Short 10 minutes walking distance to many affordable restaurants and grocers. Easy access to public transport although we had a rented car - it has free parking which is very important.

Nothing much to dislike except that the bathroom although visually clean and tidy did have a faint smell of stale urine. Our room was just above the restaurant and with the window open, you can hear the conversations of diners below - but their tone were quite subdued and the overall quietness accentuated ther volume.

No parking places, Staff does not help to find park place. Wi-fi is very Bad. Mostly no connections in the room. Room phone does not working. No connection with Reception.

The two staff I met are really nice and sweet people, and the room is clean, smoking is not allowed in any room of the hotel which I think is good !~

It would be better to provide the way to go ot the hotel on the internet if possible, I think most people get to the hotel by train, then it is good to tell them how to get the hotel after getting off the train.

Advertisement did not at all reflect actual room. First floor is not renovated like shown on pics on booking.com. It is really bad! The rest is supposed to be modernised...but avoid the first floor.

Room rate was quite high during our stay !

1- it is near the exhibition. 2- room rate is fair comparing to other hotels 3- restautrants and shops are near the hotel. 4- the stuff are very friendly.

1- as the hotel does not provide any room service. They need to put some coffee and chocolate machines in case needed.

Clean and tidy . each day new bedding

No restaurant. No tea/coffee making facilities. Double glazing useless (noisy). Room small not bright and airy as described. Only a shower which was cramped. Basically tghis hotel has seen better days. It is tired and basically worn out. Not worth the money spent. Spent the same in Munich had a 4 star hotel 10 times better. Would not go there again or recommend it.

The employees were very friendly. When we arrived in the hotel we was very surprised about the building that looked like old German Houses. Good breakfast. (not included but only 7.50 euros).

The Hotel was lovely and comfortable. Kids enjoyed it very much as did I. Modern bright room, also liked the painted Murial on the wall. Very comfy beds and real feathered bedding. The Hotel is not too far from the Railway station which we used to get into Cologne Central, Trains were very regular, every 3 minutes or so. Play Park outside for kids and not far from the main road in/out of the City. Staff were very friendly and spoke English too although I wanted to practice my German which was great, even though I am not fluent, I know the basics and enjoyed it very much. This was my first trip to Germany and wish we had stayed longer but for the first time it was a good experience. I would thoroughly recommend this Hotel to anyone I know and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

The only thing we had trouble with was we could not get English subtitles on the TV for the kids, but I translated the best I could. However this did not detract from the great time we had. Lets face it, if you are in a foreign land then you have to soak up the culture!!!!!!!!!!

Receptionist was very helpful, polite and friendly.

Room was comfortable, internet worked well and we really liked the waiter in the bar/dining hall, who was funny and friendly.

A clear door into bathroom in our room was a bit surprising but we got use to it.

Super restaurant

The Hotel was great. We travelled from Amsterdam using our Satnav and the hotel was very easy to find with parking outside the hotel which was safe for the 3 days we stayed at the hotel. We used the train to travel into town which was only three stops and took six minutes. No problems whatsoever in travelling in and out of the city where the Cathedral is next to the Main Train Station. The room was very good. The bed was great and comfortable. The shower was great with plenty of hot water.The heating radiator worked well and kept the room nice and warm.

Clean and nice room. Didn't have breakfast so I can't judge.

10' walk to reach public transports (S-bahn) for Deutz or city center. Slightly too far when you have a large suitcase. Otherwise ok.
