Charming and helpful staff. My room was a modern, well-designed studio on 3 floors with a small kitchen. The hotel is famous as a 'writer's' hotel and it is popular with journailists and artists. It has a very good library, pleasant gardens, and is situated in a quiet area within walking distance of Ham burg main station. |

It was lovely. Very spacious, breakfast delicious, garden would be lovely in summer, staff were very friendly. The room was too hot! |

Location was ideal for the Hbf and for the bars/restaurants of the St Georg district. We were on the third floor and there was no elevator. The room was very small and bore little resemblence to much of the description of the hotel. The decor in the room was very plain - white with one small picture: where was the 'literary' ambience? Given the price and description of the hotel we felt overall that we got pretty poor value for over €100 per night. |

La chambre était agréablement amenagée. Calme et vue sur jardin fleuri et arborisé. Nous avions un studio qui s'étalait sur 3 mini-étages. Pas d'ascenseur dans la maison. Il faut savoir utiliser ses jambes et bras (pour les bagages). |

Der Standort in St. Georg! Das Studio war letztendlich einfach unpraktisch, hier hat sich ein Architekt verwirklicht, der sich scheinbar keine Gedanken über Anforderungen der Gäste gemacht hat. Zum Kofferauspacken keine Ablagemöglichkeit im Bereich der Einbauschränke ?? Ein kaum nutzbarer Balkon ?? Die verschlungenen, umständlichen Wege innerhalb des Hotels .. |

Die Freundlichkeit der Hotelmitarbeiter, das ausreichende Frühstücksbuffet, der Service sowie die Lage der einzelnen Hotelgebäude. 2 alte Röhren TV (kleine Bildschirmdiagonale; im Wohnbereich 36 "). Nur wenige Sender in relativ schlechter Bildqualität. Dies ist nicht mehr zeitgemäß. Trotz der Nähe zum Hauptbahnhof, lange Wartezeiten bei Taxiruf. |

Sehr gemütlicher Gartenbereich. Zentrale Lage und sehr ruhig. Die Haltemöglichkeiten, die das Hotel vor dem Eingang zum Be- und Entladen besitzt, waren bei unserer Ankunft leider besetzt. |
