Cochem Castle is truly worth the trip. You're taken back to a time of great architecture, kings, and queens. Vineyards adorn the hillsides.

My family and I were eager to explore Cochen and booked an apartment for our stay. From the moment we arrived, we realized the apartment lived up to all our expectations and what was promised in the description. We were greeted with a spotlessly clean and tidy place, which made us feel comfortable right away.
What really stood out was the exceptional attention we received from the owners. They were attentive to any needs we had and made us feel at home. Finding a place like this not only met but exceeded our expectations and brought us great joy during our stay.
We are sure to return as soon as possible. This apartment has become our favorite place to stay in Cochen.

Cochem in the summer is lovely and vibrant with plenty to do and see.
We went for the Christmas market and found it very quiet and the market itself was very small. The town is a lot quieter in the winter months.

Cochem is a great place to visit.
Cochem is a great place to visit. Take the river cruise through the lock for 3 hour tour you won't regret it. The castle tour is nice thing to do. Take the bus up to castle because walking up hills is not worth the few Euros it costs for the bus. Great food choices.

All the write ups for the town seemed interesting & a location near the river. Parking was consistently a problem in most areas and restaurant food was average at best. Went to a lovely restaurant, 8k away in Belstrain & both food & wine recommended were exceptional.
Used our car for transportation. There was a local bus station & train within town limits, so car wasn't necessary here.
Seemed to have a # of stores for tourist items but not much else.Lots of cyclists

Definitely worth a visit, castle and a boat trip recommended. But beware of some....not so nice places to eat near waterfront, recommend to read the reviews, since some food is more like fastfood and not really traditional, borderline of nasty.
This hotel is in a fantastic location. We booked a Classic Suite which was clean, spacious and with a great view of the castle and the river.
The staff were efficient and professional.
We will definitely re-visit the Park Hotel, Cochem.
We required a car parking space and we arrived at 5p.m. and secured one of the last spaces. It might be worthwhile arriving a little earlier just to make sure that a car parking space is available.
Breakfast was good and so was our evening meal in the restaurant. The portions are too big!!!!!
The owner Hermann was friendly, kind and humorous. He made us feel welcome immediately. Despite having to abide by the strict prevailing Covid screening rules, Hermann made the whole process a painless breeze. He even rewarded us with a glass of his vineyard’s Pinot Noir each!
Our room was clean, bright and spacious. There was even a common pantry nearby with a well-equipped kitchenette.
This quaint vineyard hotel is a little gem in Cochem. We highly recommend it to those who want something different in a good way!
The location was within walking distance of all old town attractions and restaurants. The hotel has two outdoor terraces which provide good people watching or a view of the castle. The room was of good size with a small balcony. The bathroom is small but very well designed to maximize usage. The hotel is clean and quiet. Late night we could hear very little outside noise even with one window tilted open. Breakfast was okay, but for the money a nearby cafe would probably be a better experience.
This place is fabulous! The flat itself is fantastic with very comfortable living spaces and an awesome view of the castle from a terrace. It has all of the modern conveniences one can think of and then some. It truly is a hidden gem! The owner is also very friendly and offers excellent suggestions of things to do and of wonderful places to eat at. If visiting Cochem again, this would be my top choice if it was available.
Loved this property! Excellent included breakfast with table overlooking the castle. We had bought champagne at a local wine tasting - hotel lets you access the breakfast room at night. We celebrated our sons proposal to fiancée that night with their glasses and our champagne. (They do have a fridge full of wines we could have purchased from them). Rooms were comfy enough. Bathrooms a bit tired but very clean.
It was so much better than we had expected! It felt like a home. Next to the Mosel, very close to town, clean, comfortable, just great. Loved the honesty bar and the relaxed vibe in the garden each evening. The hosts were really so friendly. Like minded folk from various countries were there, all friendly and all so relaxed - was it the hotel that created that - we think so. Would really recommend this hotel.
There are many choice of food for breakfast and the landlord take good care of every customers. The room is very clean and well maintained. The rooms with balcony have great view of the Mosel and the Cochem castle, especially the corner room #3. There are plenty of space for parking. After a day of visits you can enjoy a beer and snack (curry wurst, hamburger, ...) in the hotel garden (close at 6PM)
The hotel is extremely centrally located in Cochem and you can park on a meter outside to unload etc. The restaurant was good but probably over priced. Its probably worth getting a room with a balcony on the front although the sun drops behind the hotel so its not an evening location. There is good access to all local facilities and given its central location its quiet.
Reception very good attention.
Breakfast very good attention. Various typical foods, tea and coffee,no espresso machine.
New room and bathroom very clean with a big fan no air conditioner ,we are use to sleep with air conditioning but in Europe even in hotels with air conditioning you cannot feel they are cooling the room .
Parking in premises.
This hotel was very beautiful, in a beautiful old building with great historic features. But our room was modern and cozy, not old-fashioned at all, with floor heating for toasty feet. It was also maybe the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in. They also made late check-in very easy. If I were ever in Cochem again, I would stay here for sure.
The hotel has a great location on the opposite riverbank overlooking the historic city centre of Cochem. The view from the restaurant and from my room was beautiful, with the impressive castle taking centre stage.
The room was modern and comfortable but a bit small. Breakfast was good and varied.
Very good location on the river bank next to the bridge and with the view of Cochem castle. Restaurant which was part of the hotel served very good food. We also appreciated possibility to rent garage next to the hotel (10€ extra charge per day).
Very spacious, and with an amazing view of Cochem. The sunset from the living room on the castle was spectacular. Comfortable, large and comfy. Parking was easy and the wifi really good.
