We had a very agreable stay : warm atmosphere in the hotel and in the restaurant of the hotel. Comfortable rooms, prices in the restaurant were very afordable and the food was really good (a good reference : many locals were also eating there). We could also enjoy a walk in the countryside and we got in 10 mins in the centre of Trier with the car ... ideal deal

The hotel is in a nice quiet spot, within easy driving distance of Trier and other beautiful towns and villages of the Saar and Moselle rivers. It is excellent value for money and the price includes a simple buffet breakfast. They are also open for lunch and dinner, with a good selection of food and wines. The hotel suits anyone on a budget who wants to explore the area on foot, by bike or car. There is a bike path in front of the hotel, and many of the guests arrived with bikes. All the staff spoke excellent English. The staff were very helpful and when we mentioned that our TV didn't appear to work, they had a replacement in the room on the same day.

It can be a bit noisey if you have a room overlooking the beer garden / water wheel. We were disturbed at night by late arrivals and furniture scraping. We weren't allocated the room type we had booked (room with balcony) and were told that these rooms were more expensive over Easter and that the price we had paid was not correct for a balcony room! However, they did show us one and maybe they would have let us have it, but we decided to stick with the one they had allocated.

Le personnel est très sympathique.

Sur ma réservation la chambre disposait d'un balcon, celle que l'on nous a donnée n'en avait pas. En hiver cela n'a pas trop d'importance mais l'été ce serait dommage. Salle de bain très exigüe.

La vraie proximité avec Trèves (15 minutes à peine en voiture) ; la situation dans la campagne ; le confort des lits ; la gentillesse du personnel (dont certains parlent français) ; le côté domaine familial

Le côté "vieillot" - années 70, tout l'équipement est très vieux et la décoration est de très mauvais goût ; le buffet du petit déjeuner n'est pas au niveau d'un 3 étoiles ; et surtout le calme, qui est censé être la dominante de cet hôtel situé en pleine campagne, n'est pas forcément au rendez-vous puisque les chambres sont extrêmement mal insonorisées (il faut donc avoir de la chance et ne pas tomber sur un couple surexcité d'un côté et une famille avec bébé de l'autre, ce qui, vous vous en doutez, a été notre cas...). Tous ces éléments ne votent pas en faveur des ces 3 étoiles imméritées selon moi.

Het personeel is aardig en erg behulpzaam. Geeft een goede informatie over bezienswaardigheden in de omgeving.

De eetgelegenheid is soms aan de beperkte kant. Wil je eten, is het aan te bevelen om dit van te voren aan te geven.

Hotellet ligger I et dejligt landskab med gode muligheder for vandre- og cykelture. Samtidig ligger det tæt på Trier, som er en meget seværdig og spændende by. Der er en god atmosfære på hotellet, værelserne er pæne, morgenmaden er rigtig god og restauranten serverer iøvrigt god mad. Generelt god værdi for pengene.
