It's like stepping 150 years back in time. The room was more like an apartment, with 2 bedrooms and a huge separate lounge. All the decor seemed to fit in, taking you back to earlier times. A good breakfast was included as well. It's a pity we only stayed one night.

The apartment is big and stylish. Lots of antique furniture. Quite different from a regular hotel room! A very nice restaurant with excellent traditional German food and local wines. Cosy room for breakfast with a good variety of rolls, meats, cheeses, fresh eggs, etc.

The location is perfect for exploring Osthofen on foot, and it's a 5-minute walk to the train station, if you want to visit the rest of Germany.

The staff is friendly and helpful, breakfast is a wonderful traditional German breakfast, the restaurant has lots of options, and the location in downtown Osthofen is super convenient.
