Excellent staff was very courteous and helpful. Food was good, rooms were clean and quiet, and location was good. Room rates are reasonable. Selfishly for business travelers, it would be nice to have a greater selection of English language television stations available. An excercise or fitness facility would be nice, as well as unlimited wi- fi for no extra costs. Still, a very good hotel that I will likely visit again.

The cleanliness and friendliness of the staff. All the staff spoke excellent English which was obviously a bonus. We were over for the Eurovision Song Contest and they gave us maps and travel tips of how to get around Essen and Dusseldorf. Extremely helpful. Nothing - we loved it!

Good quality business hotel with a nice restaurant - perfect for business travellers like me who arrive too late to go out to dinner. Essen is not an attractive town anyway (I used to live nearby). The rooms at the front of the hotel are noisy in a morning if you have the window open as it is located on the Essen inner ring road.The breakfast is very expensive!

I was sent here by a holiday company as part of the package to see a football match in Dortmund, 20 miles away! The hotel was fine but was situated in a very 'unrourist' city. The hotel has excellent facilities if you need to visit Essen. I cannot imagine why you would unless for business, fortunately the weather was very sunny all weekend and the pavement cafe's were available and open. Having a day free we walked to a massive coal mining museum three miles away, this follows a tram route all the way so part walking is a possibility. If you have room only I recommend meals out in the City nearby as prices are high!Transport links around the city are impressive.

All staff extremely helpful and friendly. Hotel is easy to reach and located adjacent to the main shopping area in the city center. Usually a taxi or two out in front. Restaurant is very good thought with a limited menu. Bar is OK but very small. Under hotel parking is secure.

Het hotel ligt zeer centraal t.o.v. de winkelcentra en de U-Bahn/Stations. We hebben vooral genoten van de rustige binnenplaats (midden in het centrum) waar je toch buiten kon ontbijten/dineren. Het hele hotel ademt rust. Op kamer 205 was de douchekop instabiel, omdat de aandraaiknop gedeeltelijk verlamd was. Op zaterdagavond was er een feestavond van de Deutsch-Arabische Verein met hard klinkende arabisch muziek. Dat was jammer, maar we begrijpen dat de mensen van dat Verein óók feest wilden vieren. Tegen die geluidsoverlast is weinig te doen, maar als dat elke zaterdagavond zo zou zijn dan zouden de potentiële gasten daarvan in kennis moeten worden gesteld. Zij kunnen dan uitwijken naar een ander hotel om te dineren. Verder hebben wij begrip voor de prijs van het ontbijt, maar die is wel stevig. De prijs van het ontbijt op het reserveringsticket suggereert dat de prijs inclusief ontbijt is. Wij hadden enige maanden geleden geboekt en vergeten dat de prijs exclusief ontbijt was. Bij het betalen van de nota werden we zo even op het verkeerde been gezet. Maar dat is méér onze slordigheid dan die van het hotel.

Die unschlagbare citylage,Anbindung an öffentliche Verkehrsmittel Ich finde es unverständlich, ja arrogant, daß ein Hotel mit sovielen Räumen sich nicht in der Lage sieht einen Rauchersalon einzurichten.

Het hotel is goed gelegen, vlak bij het (winkel)centrum van Essen en langs de tramlijn die rechtstreeks naar de UNESCO-site "Zollverein" leidt. Er komen aardig wat kosten bij de hotelrekening. Een parkeerplek voor 18 euro per dag is erg duur. Het ontbijt is prijzig voor de geboden kwaliteit. Het hotel ligt langs de drukste weg van de stad en de onmiddellijke buurt is grauw en grijs. De prijzen in het restaurant zijn hoog (in de stad kan je beter en goedkoper eten), met als gevolg dat er geen klanten zijn en het dus ongezellig is. Een belangrijk knelpunt is de diervriendelijkheid. Men aanvaardt wel hondjes (aan 10 euro per dag) maar je kan/mag er (buiten de hotellobby) nergens mee komen in het hotel. Eigenlijk kan men dan best honden weigeren, zo bespaart men frustraties bij de gasten.

Bonjour, Très satisfait de la prestation hôtelière, malgré le prix un peu élevé du petit déjeuner, mais à décharge une qualité de produit, et un excellent repas du soir au restaurant, à un prix tout à fait abordable. Le personnel bien attentionné, malgré l'échange difficile lié aux différences linguistiques. Avec mes cordiales salutations

Sonderwünsche werden sofort umgesetzt Die Zimmer sind nicht unbedingt klein, aber es gibt nur einen Schrank und sonst keine Möglichkeit, Dinge zu verstauen (z.B. keine Schubladen an Nacht- und Schreibtisch). Ungünstig bei längerem Aufenthalt Das Parkhausprocedere ist etwas ungünstig Restaurant und Bar waren in der Woche unseres Aufenthaltes geschlossen. Da ich gehbehindert bin, achte ich bei der Wahl eines Hotels darauf, dass ich dort auch abends essen und danach noch irgendwo sitzen kann.

Die Ausstattung der Zimmer und das Design Die Zimmerfrau kam dreimal ich einer halben Stunde rein ohne anzuklopfen. Das Kopfkissen war etwas klein und die Bettwäsche für diese Jahreszeit zu kalt.

De locatie is gunstig voor het shoppen .. Het ontbijt viel enorm tegen ...te weinig ruimte voor de vele gasten en buffet werd nauwelijks bijgevuld. Bij binnenkomst werd er gezegd zoek zelf maar een plekje en anders wachten ..ik vind voor zo'n groot hotel de ontbijt faciliteiten veel beter kunnen .

wir hatten eine sehr günstige suite , gratis internet zugang , super liebes personal , mein bruder und ich hatten seine suite bestellt, trotz gleichem preis war die ausstattung different , das fand ich kommisch bei der badewanne war wasser inlauf stop kaputt
