Bad wifi connection
My wife and I loved this hotel. Out of the three we stayed at on this trip, Staudacherhof was far superior in every way.
Nothing to report
Everything, great staff.
stayed at a garden suite. nice and helpful staffs, quiet location, excellent food (breakfast and dinner), very clean, cozy, and comfortable room large and clean bathroom
Staff excellent. Julia on desk always smiling and nothing too much trouble. Easy walk from hotel into town, lovely place all round. Definitely going back.
No wifi in room but very fast connection in lounge and lobby.
Loved our stay here! The staff was very helpful, and our rooms were very comfortable. Lots of variety to choose from at breakfast - which was a big bonus for my picky kids. Also loved the drinks selection at the bar.
Wifi only in lobby Limited kids' hours at swimming pool
It is an extraordinarily nice hotel
Staff was phenomenal- friendly, helpful, nice and funny. Food, all 3 meals included (dinners were 5 course) was delicious and varied. Flavors were amazing and well mixed. Location was central to town and train station, both walking distance, yet quiet. Hotel provided bikes ( and had other gear available) for our use at no additional cost. Spa amenities including both indoor and outdoor pools and hot tub were beautiful and clean. Playground and playroom for children. Rooms were clean and spacious with lovely balcony, tub and shower. Lots of extras thought of including supplying pool bag/robes/slippers and hiking bag for guest use. Definitely earn 5 star status
This hotel apparently has a 500 year history. It is set off the main roads in a quiet residential area. We wouldn't know how far a walk it is to the town center because once we had come back from hiking, we didn't want to leave. The rooms are european sized (cosy) but very comfortably equipped with all the amenities. The mini-fridge had 4 drinks which were all complementary as were the apples and water flask waiting for us. There was a beach bag with 2 bath robes and slippers and a small backpack by the door ready for outings. Our balcony had 2 lounge chairs as well as a bistro set overlooking the mountains. The Spa is extensive although we were too busy hiking and sunbathing to partake. There was an outdoor pool where we were served drinks while lounging until 7 pm. The breakfast buffet was delicious and included champagne. The 5 course dinner menu was gourmet and very different both nights. Both nights we enjoyed our coffee and digestifs on the candlelit terrasse of the bar sitting cozily under fleece blankets as the air cooled. The most over-the-top service was the "Auto Spa" in the parking lot of supplies to clean your car. That was a first! On top of all the details and comforts, the most outstanding feature of the hotel was the service. The staff were all extremely friendly, welcoming and couldn't do enough for you. It was very nice to have the same wait staff at all our meals, They enjoyed their jobs and were valued by their employer and it was obvious in how well they treated the guests. We have lived in Germany over a year and this was by far the best service we have received anywhere in Europe. The entire weekend was bliss
Well trained, cheerful and helpful staff, nothing was a problem,( All v good English speakers ). Good sized rooms with nice touches e.g. A small rucksack to borrow, great coffee machine, bathrobe, spa facilities. Excellent well presented food, some free afternoon snacks. Definitely recommended to all
Only wifi is in lobby which was intermittent, and only worked on certain machines.
We found everything highly superior. Food, wellness area, friendly, helpfull staff, good location. Apart from the misinterpretation/misunderstanding re. Wc, we could not fault the Staudacherhof.
A misunderstanding or misinterpretation regarding " a separate WC" which was confirmed with our "Superior Double"We understood this to mean a totally separate wc, however it was intergrated in the bathroom with a door one could close. In other words one had to go through the bathroom to the toilet. I think the description should be clarified.
Cozy decoration like home feel All the drinks at mini bar are free
Poor quality staff, some of the waiters do not speak in English in restaurant. Location is a bit far away from train station. Very hot in a room even adjust the temperature to 0 degree Poor quality of toilet amenities, a bit old
Very friendly staff, nice atmosphere in the hotel - dedication down to details, view from the balcony of the room, spa area, excellent breakfast and nice dinners
no gym in the hotel, difficult to find available time for spa treatments (remember to book in advance)
The mattresses on the bed were terrible, even a masseus said they weren't good. Shame, you get such relaxing treatments and then sleep miserably, makes the day prior massages worthless. Who wants to take a shower today that you can't stand under, who has shower handles on the lower walls, couldn't even enjoy the heat to be on my back without having to hold it.
Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff, beautiful spa facilities, lovely views. We visited for a wedding anniversary and really appreciated the many little extras offered.
All inclusive! Nice atmosphere. Good location.
The room was very small. We are vegetarian/ vegans; this hotel Is not used to catering for this type of population.

The staff were amazingly friendly. We were treated so well , particularly on our 30th anniversary when they dressed our table and gave us a personalised scroll The spa area was amazing, very relaxing and, when we were there, was not overcrowded The food was soooo good and plentiful I cannot recommend this enough
the hotel was on a side street that I found rather strange but that said it was close to the main roads and was not over-looked
the owner and his wife are very good peaple and nice but reception people are not
the staff did not deal with me like german (they give jam jars in avery good box and they gave one without any box which i did not like it)
